An Elizabeth II Royal Naval dress sword, the blade with etched detail and Wilkinson Sword Co Ltd London mark to base, blade length 79cm, with copper and brass hilt to wire work shagreen grip and a shorter George VI example, both in brass mounted leather scabbards (2).Provenance: The Great Stromboli.
MEISSEN; a pair of mid-19th century shuttlecock players, each with blue painted crossed swords mark to base and incised numbers, height approx 16.5cm. Provenance: from a private Worcestershire collection, purchased from Burnley Antiques and Fine Arts Ltd in 1981.Additional InformationHaving inspected both figures rigorously under a UV light, we cannot find any restoration which is remarkable given the delicate nature of these figures. Some very minor losses to the lace work on her elaborate dress and some minor rubbing to the gilding but overall in excellent condition.
VOLKSTEDT; a pair of German porcelain figural candlesticks modelled as lady and gentleman in elaborate dress with painted floral detail standing before columns modelled as tree trunks with applied flowers and leaves, both marked to bases, height of slightly taller 32cm.Additional InformationSome chips and losses to the flowers, probable restoration to lady's right hand and forearm, the tip of the little finger on the right hand has been broken off, some visible firing cracks especially to the flowers, some rubbing to the painted detail, rubbing to gilding, both with visible glue or binding agent between tip of column and candle receptacle although probably present from manufacture, some pitting, inclusions, etc, please refer to illustrations and request additional if necessary.

General scuffing to the raised parts of her dress and to the gilt heightening.
