A 19th century officers dress sword with shagreen grip and scabbard and a 20th century bayonet, approx length 98cm. CONDITION REPORT The blade is in very good condition but the scabbard is corroded. Both blades are plain. Markings on bayonet are rubbed but some lettering still visible "V.R. 1 95" and then on opposite side "W.D. L9 E X" but very indistinct.

Willliams, and a group of dress medals for NX60534 J.A. Williams to include a 1914 Star, South Africa Star, 1939-1945 Star, Defence Medal, Australia Service Medal 1939-45 etc (19).

Two carved alabaster busts, one of a gentleman in military dress, the other of a young lady, both signed and dated 'INSOM FECE 1839', 20.2cm and 18.6cm high, together with a copy of the Great Tew Park catalogue. Thurkle, Soho London, with a 83.5cm long steel fullered blade, etched VR crowned cypher, a seated talbot crest with motto Virtuti Nihil Obstat et Armis and monogram FMM, with a gilt brass guard and sharkskin grip with scabbard, and a presentation sword, the blade etched with same crest and monogram and PRESENTED TO CAPTAIN F.M.METCALFE by the MEMBERS of the 2nd ? RIFFLE VOLUNTEERS.... May 1878., the guard with pierced foliage decoration and two trumpeting maidens flanking a crested monogram, with scabbard. (2)
Five small ware Continental figures, three modelled as ballerinas, one as a man with a musical instrument, the other as a lady in a crinoline dress; together with a 19th Century Wedgwood oval teapot with raised coloured bamboo decoration on cream ground, with matching stand and a smaller coffee pot with damaged spout.
