LATE VICTORIAN OR EARLY EDWARDIAN WEDDING DRESS comprising a corsetted high waisted body made from cream satin and ivory silk lace with embroidered flower design running around the body, small metal hooks placed in the inside back of the body possibly to attach to a hoop skirt/crinoline or petticoats, heavy lace collars and cuffs with a detached pleated satin collar; the skirt of the dress is very large compaired to the waist line, suggesting a hoop skirt/crinoline would be required, and it made of cream satin with embroidered bows just above the hem line, which is finished with ivory lace. 58cm waist, 33cm from shoulder seem to shoulder seam, approximatley UK size 4.
