Votivblech mit Adorant, urartäisch, 8. Jhdt. v. Chr. Rechteckiges Bronzeblech mit von hinten herausgetriebener, figürlicher Darstellung. Frontal stehende Figur mit über die Knie reichendem Kleid, auf Hüfthöhe gegürtet. Augen, Nase und Mund des rundlichen Gesichts schematisch mit Punkten und Linien dargestellt. Die Arme angewinkelt zur Seite nach außen geführt und mit gespreizten Fingern versehen (Gebetsgestus?). Seitlich oben und an den unteren Seiten Bänder aus parallelen Vierpunktreihen. Schöne dunkelgrüne Patina. Linkes unteres Eck ausgebrochen. Kleiner Riss mit winzigem Ausbruch oberhalb der Schädelkalotte bis hin zur rechten Schläfe. Höhe 9,9 cm. Provenienz: Aus rheinischer Privatsammlung, erworben in den 70er und 80er Jahren im Kunsthandel. Zustand: II - An Urartarian votive sheet with adorant, 8th century B.C. Rectangular bronze sheet with figurative representation driven out from behind. Figure standing on the front with a dress reaching over the knees, girded at waist level. Beautiful dark green patina. Lower left corner broken out. Small crack with tiny eruption above the skull. Height 9.9 cm. Provenance: Property of a collector in the Rhineland, formerly acquired on the art market in the 1970s and 1980s . Condition: II -
