Barken' L50.5cm overall NB: The vendor advises 'information about the Police sidearm. It was my Grandads WO2 Walter (Jack) Volley of the 14th/20th Kings Hussars. He served in India during WWII and was The Army heavy weight boxing champion for a few years. After the war he was stationed in Wuppertal and Münster where my mother grew up. My mother remembers playing sword fighting with my Uncle who had the sidearm and my mother a large wooden spoon as he was older. This would have been around 1955ish'Condition Report: Some corrosion and lifting of plate to the blade.Other signs of wear consistent with age and use.Leather frog split above hanging lug.Minor split to one grip panel.Most plating worn away on cross-piece and pommel.
