An 18th Century Derby figure of a gentleman in 18th Century dress, a cockerel in his arms, 19.5 cm high CONDITION REPORTS Overall with wear and scuffs, some losses and damage to include head and neck of cockerel has been re-modelled and re-painted and the re-modelling also now has chips and losses, end of the staff broken off and missing, various chips to include to the applied decoration, to his hat, etc., head has been broken off, re-glued, fillered and over-painted at the neck, lower section of staff also appears to have been re-modelled and re-painted, as does the corner of his coat which also has over-painting and chips, hat also with losses, re-modelling and over-painting which is now discolouring, large chip to base and three areas to the base which appear to have been ground down (see photos), some chips and filler to base, and various chips throughout.
EDGAR BUNDY (1862-1922) "The Intruder", interior study of figures in 17th century dress, watercolour heightened with white and body colour, signed bottom right, 48 cm x 65 cm CONDITION REPORTS Some light general wear and scuffs, but painting overall appears in reasonably good order. Frame has various chips and losses. The back of the frame is covered with MDF and edges have been resealed.
