Sasha doll By Frido 1969/1970 Red head ; Owned from childhood by vendor Fine variant wisp fringe. This beautiful Crayon Tube doll bought in 1969 was originally dressed in Brown cord dress outfit as seen on Heals store variant . The heeled brown shoes newer snap with heel plates remain with the socks, and the doll is dressed in an early Gingham wide dress outfit( one snap half off a cuff , with shorts( elastic loose)which comes with the white leather Newley snap strap early shoes( one has an absent heel plate). The doll has beautiful red hair, and the very thin fine wispy fringe unusual On a redhead and the hair and style is s sold. Good vintage doll, great dark early colouring and has good brown eyes, soft pink lips . Body is good-has as shown a small mark on right shoulder , stands and has white stringing to arms and legs which appears original.a beautiful doll. (1 +Frido outfit) The Crayon tube has no Frido paper disc in lid top .

Jumeau Fine French Antique doll c 1890 ; 22” size 10 Fine French Tete Jumeau closed mouth doll, purchased at Jouets et jeux Paris in the passage de L’Opera ( label remains. )The head; good delicate shaded bisque with inset blue paperweight eyes. , full black fine lashes and eyeliner and strong painted stroked brows. Closed mouth with accents to lips, pieced ears and right one has a chip in the hole. The head exterior has no apparent damage or repair and the inside rim has some chips-see photo=the inside of the head has 2 scratch lines inside with additional glue lines from fitting the pate-Lamp tested and no repairs apparent to the head. The body; historically over painted entirely with some rough flaking and tightly strung and label remains on doll and has been worked around . The wig and pate ; modern addition wig with original cork french pate and some clothing to include a bonnet dress and coat( not antique) and the original once rose and now pale kid buttoned boots original to the doll. Markings . DEPOSE TETE JUMEAU SGDG 10 and LX11 artist marks. A very attractive doll and is a good size .( 1 Doll + original Pate and clothing. )Last sold by Sothebys 1990s sale.

A C1874 wedding dress made from a cream moire silk. The dress has ruched skirt with pie crust hem and the neck and wrists is tightly gathered silk tulle. There are fabric flowers at the neck and atop bows down the sides. in as found condition, there is shred to the silk in the skirt and at the shoulders. The bodice remains strong and the fabric covered buttons are in place. The lining is strong and the boning intact.

Possibly had a high neck originally and was altered

Fine Antique Kestner 171 German large 34” Child doll with plaster pate c 1900. Marked Germany 17.5 171. Good bisque head with open close dark brown original glass eyes, slight parted mouth with inset porcelain teeth and pale coral lip paint( no lashes) on very large original chunky articulated body- body has some scuffs and repairs on legs and paint loss on wooden ball jointed body( red excelsior Germany body printed mark on lower back. ) and jointed wrists with good hands. The head; appears to be damage free although some tiny age marks exist , has raised painted stroke brows on a very beautiful large head The doll is dressed in none -original antique clothing including a silk dress and kid ankle strap Childs rosette shoes., and has 2 wigs-original dark brown mohair wig as shown on photo and a newer soft long wig for a choice-the plaster pate is original and has been revealed on rim to secure.( 1 doll with 2 wigs and clothing as shown) Original Sold at Sothebys 1990s.

One in the Dior New Look style with tightly fitted, strapless bodice with boning and a full skirt with hip padding and hooped petticoat, and another in a rose pink and black brocade with silk velvet cummerbund (2)some loose/ missing beading, would benefit from a clean, minor seam stress, heal tear to hooped petticoat, break in boning, general wearbrocade dress shows general wear, cummerbund needs re-stitching and the pleated drops at the waist need stitching in places.
