Pair late 19th century Meissen porcelain figures of gentleman with a book, seated on a chair and a seated lady holding a sewing spool - both with underglazed blue crossed swords and impressed and incised numerals, 12.5cm - 13cm high CONDITION REPORT Male figure - small firing crack on pierced base. Figure is missing his foot and the hilt of his sword is also missing. His hand holding the book has been re-glued and there are some chips on the book and also on the petals of some of the flowers. Female figure - Some small chips to the detailed decoration on dress, end of her shoe has small chip, sleeve of dress has a small chip, ribbons coming from back of dress have been broken and bits are missing, some damage to pierced border
Unusual yellow metal dress ring with pear-shape cabochon garnet surrounded by twelve brilliant cut diamonds interspaced by three rubies. Ring size T CONDITION REPORT Ring in very good condition. Garnet has a fissure / crack within the stone. No hallmarks but would appear to be probably 18ct gold. Total gross weight approximately 16.1 grams. Probably circa 1960 / 1970. Diamonds measure approximately 0.03 carats each

Would probably benefit from a clean as it has hung in a room with an open fire for many years. Frame has some losses and could do with some restoration
