A Chaumet Art Deco dress clip circa 1935, of Odeonesque design, set with a circular blue zircon above a rounded rectangular, mixed cut, yellow sapphire, all within a rose cut diamond set surround, all set in 18ct white gold, stamped 'JC' mark, within fitted 'J. Chaumet, Paris 12 Place Vendome, Londres 22 Bruton Street, New York 730 Fifth Avenue' case, 3.8cm long, 1.8cm wide, gross weight 16.5gms (one rose cut diamond missing - note this is set in white gold NOT platinum) CONDITION REPORT: We do not guarantee that either of the coloured stones in this lot are of natural origin, please satisfy yourself PRIOR to bidding and read our conditions of sale applicable to Trevanion and Dean's sale of jewellery and gemstones. One rose cut diamond is missing from the surround. Stamped to the back of the clip with JC mark and eagles head, no other marks or numbers evident upon inspection. Within fitted 'J Chaumet' box. A pair of German porcelain figural groups of children, late 19th century, modelled as a young girl and boy seated, he on a chair and crying with a book open upon his knee, she supporting a pocket watch and smiling, each on circular bases with gilt vitruvian scroll bands, underglaze Meissen blue crossed swords mark, Impressed marks, incised 'F49', 14cm high (at fault) CONDITION REPORT: She- Encrusted detailing to dress with multiple losses and sections of repair. Pocket watch ribbon chipped. Seat cushion lacking tassel. Firing imperfection the scroll border. He- Chair back missing. Each fore corner of seat cushion chipped. Chip to tip of exposed foot. Small chip to base. Arm band to raised arm with chipped tassels. Losses to encrusted collar. Firing crack to the little finger of the raised arm. Chips to hat and feathers.

An 18ct gold, amethyst and diamond dress ring, arranged as a large oval cut amethyst measuring 16 x 12 x 9mm, flanked to either side by a single four claw set brilliant cut diamond each weighing approx 0.08ct, gross weight 8.8g, size M Condition Report / Extra Information Stones good, no chips or abrasions.Setting with some fine surface scratches which would easily polish out.Otherwise no apparent faults.
Peaked Dress Cap formerly belonging to Hon. Col. Sir Richard H. Glynn, Bt, OBE, TD, ADC, DL, MP. Richard Glynn was commissioned into the Queen's Own Dorset Yeomanry on 5.4.30. He wrote the history of the regiment in 1943 and rose to command the regiment in 1944. Post-war he was 2ic 128 Brigade and later became ADC to HM The Queen. He served as MP for North Dorset and was a Commissioner for the Commonwealth War Graves Commission. He died in 1980. The cap is in excellent condition, complete with bullion badge and is contained in its original box addressed to Glynn.
