DOLLS. Three bisque headed dolls & various doll's parts. CONDITION REPORTS: Baby Gloria has no noticeable signs of damage, however, there are numerous surface scratches mostly to the top of the head. No.2-Small doll has no noticeable signs of damage to the head but the body is missing its left arm and is generally quite worn. DEP 201 7/10-The head has no noticeable signs of damage, the hair is mostly unattached. The dress is quite discoloured and stained. AM 3512-The head is in reasonable condition and has a hairline crack on the back of the head, approx. 2cm in length. There are some very minor chips around the base of the neck.
SILK DRESS ETC. A 1920's silk dress & a silk crepe blouse. CONDITION REPORTS: The silk crepe blouse is in generally good condition, with no splits or tears. However, there is a very small area of re-stitching on the right hand side of the hem. The 1920's dress is in generally good condition. There is no actual damage but there is some staining and discolouration to both the back and front.
WEDDING GOWN. A silk & silk crepe wedding gown, circa 1920 with shaped sleeves, crossover front & a long tasseled & embroidered net panel. CONDITION REPORTS: The wedding dress is in generally good condition, with some very minor staining and discolouration. The crepe silk has stretches in a few small places on the cuffs of each arm. There is a small area of loss on the embroidered net border at the bottom of the front panel of approx. 4cm.
EVENING DRESSES. A 1960's green & gold lame evening dress by Blanes & one other evening dress with boned bodice. CONDITION REPORTS: Green Dress is labelled, is a size 12 and is in generally good condition, however, there are some stains under each armhole. The pale blue dress has a cigarette burn hole on the edge of the hem, on the front right hand side of the dress. There is no actual actual damage, but the fabric has frayed around the shoulder straps and hem.
LADIES CLOTHING. A lady's gold lame, fur trimmed evening coat, the blue silk lining very distressed & two other garments, both worn. CONDITION REPORTS: The gold lame coat is in generally poor condition. The outside would have had a fine blue net covering, which has perished and most of the net is missing. The inside of the coat is in a similar condition. There is some staining to the gold lame fabric. The crepe silk floral dress dress has damage to both underarm areas. There are several holes in the floral crepe silk and the blue skirt has perished around the waistband.
