A WWI era 1854 pattern officer’s sword with HAC emblem to guard and engraved blade by Henry Wilkinson, London, numbered 56667, brown leather battle dress scabbard. Sword 56667 was made for a W.W. Burton HAC. There is also mentioned a Lieutenant-Colonel F.C.C Balfour. The dates of 17.3.19 and 17.8.20 are probably for the ordering and completion/collection dates – or when the sword was ‘proved’ (tested after being completed).

An Art Deco 18ct white gold ruby and diamond dress ring. 5 .16ct square cut rubies in a central high mount surrounded by 18 small round cut diamonds in an illusion setting. One diamond looks to have been replaced at some stage. Scroll design to sides of mount with leaf detail to each shoulder. Gold marks to inside of band. Band shows signs of re sizing. Size R, total weight approx. 5.1g.
