18ct white gold Art Deco emerald and diamond set cluster dress ring. Graduated base set with three step cut emeralds. Panel extends above and below with a central rub-over set French cut diamond surrounded on three sides with a grain set 'eight' cut diamond border. The shoulders each grain set with two 'eight' cut Diamonds. CONDITION REPORT: Unknown colour and clarity.Central emerald has bubbleWeight unknown.

George VI Naval Officers' dress sword with brass lion-head pommel, Gothic hilt and shagreen grip, etched blade with brown mounted leather scabbard.Provenance: Formerly the property of Lieutenant Commander Francis John Brooks R.N., who passed his Submarine Commanders course in April 1939, aged 28. He had a lucky escape when his submarine H.M.S. Unity collided off Blyth with a Norwegian ship in bad visibility and sank with the loss of four men. He went on to serve on H.M.S. Upright and decimate the Italian shipping in the shallow waters of Kerkenah Bank off Malta. Whilst on leave he had some time in the air with the R.A.F. The aircraft he was in was attacked and the rear gunner was hit, so Lt. Commander Brooks took his place and he too was shot and died before landing. He was thirty-two years old. A Rare And Impressive 11th Dragoons Officers Mameluke Sword And Dress Scabbard The curved, flat, pipe back blade as favoured by The Duke Of Wellington. Features a double point, panelled copper gilt crossguard with langets and bud terminals with toothed chevron border and six pointed star to centre contained within circular, reeded border to one side. Lined backstrap to ivory hilt, inset with twin gilt rosettes to front and back. Blade length, 31 inches, sword length 36 inches. Complete with black leather covered scabbard with long panelled locket and chape, bulbous middle bud and matching mount complete with suspension rings. Good condition, some minor hairline cracks to ivory hilt. Please see accompanying image.
