A pair of late 19th/early 20th century Continental porcelain figures, each in 18th century dress decorated in bright enamels, raised on circular bases (damages), 45cm high CONDITION REPORT: Lot 149 - The male figure has been repaired to both legs and base, cracks are visible, base and hat has damage in a few areas, the female figure has a chip to the base. No marks to bases.
A small parcel lot of jewellery and silver items to include an 18ct ruby and diamond dress ring set with three bright cut rubies flanked by four diamonds in scroll setting, two further 18ct paste set dress rings, a 9ct rose gold ring, an enamelled link bracelet, a Victorian mother of pearl silver bladed fruit knife and a coin bracelet. Three silver and synthetic stone dress rings to include a tanzanite and cubic zirconia three stone ring, oval tanzanites bordered by four cubic zirconias, a similar larger cubic zirconia example bordered by six zirconias and another with oval collet set synthetic spinel bordered by thirteen brilliant cut cubic zirconias (3)
Freddie Mercury, Queen, Three white dress shirts bought by Freddie & worn by him in the Queen video 'I'm Going Slightly Mad', purchased from Harrods & sold with original Harrods bag Provenance: Consigned by Shaun Matthew who was the house sitter at Garden Lodge, Kensington after the death of Freddie. Shaun Matthews worked for Jim Hutton and was given these items by Jim Hutton when Mary Austin took over the estate. Shaun Matthews was mentioned in Jim Huttons' book & was pictured in the press helping to clear Garden Lodge.
A 1970's 'Kate Beaver' Hand printed dress 'Little people' pattern. A wonderful example of a 1970's dress, made from velvet with block print design around the skirt. Size 10. After leaving art school in 1957, Kate took inspiration from Aubrey Beardsley and began appliquéing dresses with Art Nouveau designs, but the process was so time-consuming she soon moved to block printing.. The mayoress of Bridport had a dress made for her inauguration only to find there were at least another 10 Kate Beaver dresses at the same event!
A 1970's Red Suede Skirt and top. Very soft red suede top, beautifully made with long tapering sleeves, back opening with suede buttons, the full skirt hangs in folds, slightly pleated at the waistband, pockets, back zip and suede button. Size 8. And a pretty floral liberty silk handmade dress. (2)

Three Capodimonte figurines, Wedgwood, Masons and a bicycle lamp Hunter - in good condition there is minor chip to the rear on the foliage. Little Boy - losses ato both hands, loss to bottom of shorts on his left hand leg. Lady - damage to right hand. Chip to dress sleeve. Pair of Mason jugs - one in good order, the other has a sizeable chip to the rear underneath the left hand side handle. Wedgewood in good order. Minor lamp rubbed.
George V Coldstream Guards Officers Sword by Wilkinson’s complete with its original grip retaining the wire binding. Pierced hilt with regimental badge. Bullion sword knot attached to the guard. White metal dress scabbard. Blade is etched with foliage, battle honours, original owners initials and monogram, George V monogram, regimental badge and Henry Wilkinson trade mark. Edge of the blade is numbered 31938 and London Made. Sword has been professionally polished for parade wear. Blade length 82cm, total length 101cm.
Royal Corps of Signals Officers Headdress group consisting of officers service dress cap with officers bronze regimental cap badge to the front, leather chinstrap and regimental side buttons. Interior of the cap has the original sweatband and lining with Edinburgh tailors label. Period field repair to the sweatband. Accompanying the cap is the officers 1943 dated bush hat which has Bakelite regimental cap badge fitted to the front. Sweatband has size and date stamped. Original chinstrap still fitted. Both remain in good overall condition. (2 items)
Victorian Volunteer Lancashire Fusiliers Officers Dress Tunic of scarlet cloth with white facings. Silvered regimental buttons to the tunic. Twist cord officers shoulder boards with two bullion rank pips. Bullion fusiliers grenades to the collar with silver wire tress. Silver wire rank lace tress to the cuffs. Interior has some later alterations but generally good condition. Tunic shows some wear but generally good condition. Accompanied by Victorian volunteers officers belt and buckle. (2 items)
Post 1902 Royal Marines Other Ranks Dress Tunic of scarlet cloth with blue collar and cuffs bordered in white. Shoulder boards with embroidered Royal Marines insignia. Kings crown tunic buttons to the front, cuffs and rear. Interior has blanket lining with ink stampings. Original size label stitched to the collar.
Royal Sussex Regiment 2nd Lieutenants Full Dress Tunic of scarlet cloth with blue facings. Gilt metal regimental tunic buttons. Stand up collar with regimental collar badges and tress decoration. Gilt tress decoration to the cuffs. Bullion twist cord shoulder boards with bullion rank pip to each. Quilted lining to the interior. Some staining and small moth nips to the cloth but generally still in good condition.
Pre WW1 Mess Dress Uniforms Belonging to Hugh Gilbert Casson CB CMG South Wales Borderers, Commander of 157th Infantry Brigade at Gallipoli, Where He Was Wounded in Action. Set consists of scarlet mess tunic with green facings, small brass regimental buttons. Gilt metal Lt Colonel rank insignia to the shoulder boards. Complete with the green waistcoat and red bib. Accompanied by another mess tunic and waistcoat, with some damage on the reverse. Also comes with a set of dress tunic trousers which have some moth damage. (6 items) Hugh Gilbert Casson was born in January 1866. In 1886 he gained a commission in the South Wales Borderers and served with the regiment in the Boer War. In 1915 he was appointed commander of 157th Infantry Brigade. He served with the regiment at Gallipoli, landing at S beach Cape Helles on 25th April 1915. He was wounded at Gallipoli whilst looking through a trench periscope. He was made CMG in 1915 and CB in 1916. He retired from the army in 1919 with the rank of Brigadier General. Casson died on 5th February 1951.
Very Rare Post 1902 Royal Navy Admirals Full Dress Tunic being a double breasted coatee with white stand up collar decorated with heavy bullion gilt oak leaves. Cuffs have Royal Navy rank lace and bullion decoration. Royal Navy dress shoulder boards with bullion and metal crown, crossed sword and baton and three rank stars. Full dress intertwined gilt and blue fleck aiguillettes with gilt metal end pieces. Loops to the breast for a long medal ribbon bar and two machined holes for a breast order.Tunic is accompanied by a fine example of an Admirals sword belt. Belt is of black leather with cloth and heavy bullion decoration. Kings crown buckle being the Admirals pattern, buckle retains much of the original gilt finish. Full dress naval beaver skin bicorn hat with fine quality gilt braid decoration to the edges and gilt bullion wire decoration to the side. Interior of the cap has the original sweatband and lining with Gieves tailors details. The set shows just very light service wear. A truly outstanding quality item of British Naval uniform.
