A pair of English rustic pottery oval bust portrait plaques of a lady and gentleman in early 19th century dress, possibly Lord Nelson and Emma Hamilton, painted in shades of ochre, green and brown, 27cm high, early 19th century. Note: Purchased from J. & J. May, 40 Church Street, Kensington, W8 for £300 and given to the vendor in 1975.
A cased set of six diamond mother-of-pearl and enamel gold dress studs by Tiffany & Co., c.1900, six circular mother-of-pearl buttons, each with an old Swiss cut diamond milligrain set to the centre, with two concentric bands of white and gold dot enamel, to a plain gold back. All marked 18. Case by Tiffany & Co., 221 Regent St., London W. CONDITION REPORT: One tiny bruise to the surface of the enamel outer border, although there is still white enamel beneath. Requires cleaning.
