Andrew Plimer (1763-1837): Miniature Portrait of Lady Augusta Elizabeth Finch, half length, wearing a white dress and blue sash, watercolour on ivory, in gilt frame inscribed Lady Augusta Elizabeth Finch A Plimer, oval, 7.3cm by 5.6cm See illustration Lady Augusta was the fourth daughter of the second wife of Daniel Finch, 8th Earl of Winchelsea . Miniature in good condition. Frame with only minor surface wear. 120220
David Gauld (1865-1936) Scottish Portrait of Mrs Matthew Dickie, wearing a brown satin dress with fur stole and muff, three quarter length Portrait of a gentleman, presumed to be Mr Matthew Dicke, wearing a dark green overcoat and holding a cane, three quarter length Signed, oil on canvas, 158.5cm by 91cm (2) See illustration . Mrs Dickie - Is in an overall good and original state of preservation. Relatively light surface dirt and discoloured varnish. Canvas slightly adrift from frame in upper right hand corner and original pin hole evident to upper right hand corner. Odd white coloured small sized splash marks essentially to lower left hand corner and can be easily removed. Canvas every so slightly loose on stretcher. Not presenting any adverse of associated issues. Areas of fine stable craquelure especially within the darker tones of the brown paint. The lower edge of the canvas and frame would appear to have sustained a water? damage along the full length and effects an area of approx 6-7cm at its widest point. Photographs can be supplied. Otherwise in good condition with remaining impasto and brushwork throughout. Mr Dickie - In generally highly comparable condition to his wife. More pronounced and evident fine stable craquelure especially across the face. An amount of relatively minor scratches nicks and scuff marks to upper left hand corner and left hand side edge. Small cluster of further minor surface scratches and gentleman's bent elbow approx 5 on both diagonal, horizontal and vertical, the longest at approx 2cm in length. A greater amount of white coloured splashes mostly contained to lower third of painting (which can be easily removed). Further odd scratch/abrasion to outer edge. There is a similar level of water staining to lower edge of frame and painting in addition to a number of more significant varying directions of scratches and lengths within the lower band of approx 5cm and more concentrated scuffs and scratches to lower right hand corner (images can be provided). Two small pushmarks from reverse right hand side edge which do not puncture canvas but are seen as two small losses of paint approx 7-8cm above signature on right hand side edge. Covered in a relatively light layer of dirt and discoloured varnish.
India.- Company School (possibly Lucknow, circa 1810-1820) Portrait of standing man in regional dress, point of the brush, watercolour and bodycolour heightened with gum arabic, traces of pencil, on laid paper without watermark, ruled black ink border, sheet 172 x 122 mm (6 3/4 x 4 3/4 in), minor rubbing in places, very minor surface dirt, unframed, [circa 1810-1820].
Third Reich Erased Rohm Inscription SA Dress Dagger by EP&S, good untouched example with light brown wood grip having enamel SA device and nickel silver eagle. Nickel silver mounts with the lower guard being stamped “Nm” to the reverse. Complete with its original early pattern anodised scabbard with leather hanger attached. Near mint condition double etched blade with motto “Alles fur Deutschland” and the rear with the remains of the Rohm inscription, much of which is still visible. E.P & S Solingen makers mark to the base. The blade measures 22 cms, overall 37 cms.
Rare Third Reich SA 1935 Shooting Prize Dress Dagger by E P & S Solingen, good untouched example of a SA dress dagger with the grip having nickel silver eagle and enamel SA device inserted. Reverse of the lower cross guard is stamped with gau mark letter “B”. Housed in its original anodised scabbard with nickel silver top and lower mounts. The blade has standard motto, “Alles fur Deutschland” to one side and the other side is engraved with a four line presentation dedication in German script, “1. Schiespreis der S.A. ceim Winter hilfswerkschiesen der Kriegerkamenadsch Dabringhausen am 24.11.1935 Wehrsport cuhse 6mm 12-Ringscheibe 5 Schusse : 59 Ringe”. To the side of the inscription is the trademark for E P & S Solingen. Some staining and wear to the blade but generally a good example. Blade measures 21 ½ cms, overall 36 ½ cms.
Third Reich NSKK Dress Dagger by Tigerwerk Lauterjung & Co Solingen, with deep cherry brown wood handle having eagle and enamel SA device set within. Plated top and lower fittings to the grip. Original scabbard with plated mounts and hanging ring. Very good condition blade with much of the original cross graining remaining. Standard motto, “Alles fur Deutschland”, rear of the blade has RZM mark and M7/68 1941 which is for the maker Tigerwerk Lauterjung & Co., Solingen. Some very light staining to the blade and some plating lifting to the grip fittings but otherwise this is a very good example.
WW2 German Army Officers Dress Dagger by WKC, untouched late war example with white celluloid grip, zinc pommel and cross guard. Housed in matching scabbard with two hanging rings. Original dress portepee attached to the grip but the bottom knot is now detached. Double edged plain blade with WKC Solingen makers trade mark. The blade measures 25 ½ cms in length, overall 40cms.
Luftwaffe 1st Pattern Dress Dagger by SMF, good example of a nickel silver fittings 1st pattern dagger with blue leather covering to the grip and original copper wire binding. Top pommel disc with gilt mobile swastikas to each side. Cross guard with gilt mobile swastikas and underneath is stamped “195”. Blue leather covered scabbard with nickel silver mounts. Complete with its original aluminium hanging chains with the clip being marked OLC GES GESCH. Very good condition double edged blade with SMF Solingen makers mark and acceptance stamp. Blue leather washer to base of blade. The blade measures 30 ½ cms, overall 48 ½ cms. Good example overall.
WW2 Luftwaffe Officers Dress Sword by Alcoso Solingen, fine example of an early nickel silver officers dress sword with top pommel having brass mobile swastika inlaid to both sides, blue leather covered grip retaining the original wire, cross guard in form of feathers with mobile swastika centres. Housed in its original blue leather covered scabbard with nickel silver mounts. Leather hanger attached to one ring of the scabbard top mount. Near mint condition blade retaining all of the original polish, makers trade mark to the base and fuller to the central section running to half the length of the blade. The exterior fittings retain a dark patina finish. A superb untouched example.
Third Reich Students (N.P.E.A) Dress Dagger, standard students example having wooden grip without any device emblems, nickel silver grip mounts with the lower chape being stamped “P407”. Housed in olive green painted scabbard with bayonet frog fitting to the front. Double edged blade with motto “Mehr sein als schwinen”, reverse of the blade has makers mark of Karl Burgsmuller Charlottenburg 5 Berlin. Some light areas of staining to the blade and repair to the grip. Accompanied by a German leather bayonet frog. We are of the opinion that the scabbard is a later replacement.
Rare Third Reich Prison Officials Dress Sword by WKC, being the early solid brass type example which would originally have been gilded, this now worn off to the base brass. Stylised national emblem cross guard leafing to knucklebow and eagle head pommel. Black grip retaining the wire binding. Housed in black painted steel scabbard with single hanging ring. Slightly curved plain blade with fuller to back edge and WKC makers mark to the underside of the guard. Blade shows some light staining but generally good condition. Blade measures 80 cms, overall 94 ½ cms.

Partially double edged plain un-marked steel blade. Housed in its stitched brown leather scabbard. Blade 15 ¾ cms, overall 29 ¼ cms.

Partially double edged plain un-marked steel blade. The blade measures 16 cms, overall 28 ½ cms.
Rare Officers Uniform for NSKK Oberstaffelfuhrer, four pocket officers dress tunic with blank and ranked collar patches, correct single shoulder strap, bullion embroidered NSKK officers pattern arm eagle, fine multi-piece NSDAP party armnand and NSKK sleeve diamond insignia. Tunic with turned back cuffs and pebbled buttons. Officers quality lining to the interior with NSKK RZM label to the interior pocket. Tunic is accompanied by black wool NSKK breeches which retain the original RZM label to the interior. The tunic remains in near mint condition, showing just minimal service wear.
Imperial German 7th Company 9th Battalion Wurttemberg Infantry Regiment Number 127 1904-06 Commemorative Stein, fine example of a porcelain 0,5 litre stein with pewter top having relief of military scenes and two German soldiers to the top. Stein is decorated with various scenes of military interest, central image of William II King of Wurttemberg and coat of arms of the German state. Regimental details to the lower section. Inside has image of German soldier in uniform and lady in civilian dress, this can be seen when held up to light. Some light wear to the decoration but generally a good condition example.
Imperial German Prussian Standard Bearers Uniform Arm Badge, fine embroidered example for the blue dress tunic with cipher of Wilhelm II to the bottom. Mounted onto a blue cloth covered board with eight copper tunic buttons, two painted reichs cockades and a CDV photograph of the original owner. Small chain fitting to the reverse for hanging the display.
