Attributed to JOSEPH HIGHMORE (1692-1780); pastel, an 18th century dark-haired lady in white dress with lace collar, floral corsage and pearl detailing to dress with pearl earring, label verso 'Exposition Les Mâitres Anglais Salon Bolag Zurich' with name of artist written in number of order, plaque to frame with artist name and dates, 124, 57 x 44.5cm, gilt-framed and glazed. CONDITION REPORT Two minor surface marks/dots to forehead and some to hair, otherwise good condition, some plaster chips to frame corners.

CONDITION REPORT Rub to left-hand cheek causing dark discolouration, otherwise in good condition. Some mild chips to frame and gilding has tarnish.

Damage to continental figures as pictured, middle sized one is worst having been broken through waist area and fingers off both hands. Dancer has damage to fingers and dress. Chips to base of smallest continental figure. Doulton figures good except for minor chip to foxes coat and crack through the middle of micawber.
