Sporran - a Victorian Scottish dress sporran with original hair, silver cantle with star and rubbed marks to the cartouche, marks showing a camel and INVSS for Inverness assay, 1760 - 1880, deep brown leather back with coin holder, belt loop with chain also included in the lot is a brown leather day sporran with belt loop and a pair of cream coloured long socks (advised by the client that this sporran was owned by Pipe Major Campbell of the Black Watch while serving in the Sudan)The second tassel is present, marks to the cartouche are very faint - appears to be six pointed star, surrounded by letters (uppercase), approximate size is 45 cm from top of cantle to tip of hair.
