Ex brooch mount, fields skilfully tooled, otherwise about very fine, toned.

BRITISH COINS, Elizabeth I, Silver Pattern Shilling, undated, struck on a 32mm flan, crowned bust left in decorated dress, initial mark key (1595-1598) both sides, inner beaded circles both sides, legend and outer toothed border surrounding, ELIZAB; D; G; ANG; FR; ET HIB; REGI, rev quartered shield of arms in garnished frame over long cross fourchée, POSVI DEV; AD IVTORE M. MEV, 5.58g (N 2044/2045; B&C P5). Attempted piercing at top of crown, obverse poor, reverse fine, a muling of the two North numbers, very rare indeed.

COMMEMORATIVE MEDALS, World Medals, Egypt, The Order of the Republic, instituted 1953, Presented to His Excellency Dr Wolfgang Kiesewetter (1924-1991), Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the German Democratic Republic to the Arab States in Cairo (1961-1963), cased First Class Set comprising Silver, Gilt and Enamel Badge, 63mm, and ten-pointed Breast Star, 94mm, the former with suspender and Sash, each stamped with Egyptian standard and maker’s marks, dress miniature and button-hole rosette, in deep blue leather case of issue, the lid embossed with arms of the republic and numeral 1. Extremely fine and extremely rare.
COMMEMORATIVE MEDALS, World Medals, France, Madame Roland (1754-1793), Revolutionary publicist, Uniface Struck Copper Medal, after David d’Angers, bust right in dress with crimped bodice, her hair tied up with scarf, her name before her, 68mm. Very fine. Though lead-backed, the medal appears to be solid and not produced by the electrotyping process. Marie-Jeanne Phlippon Roland, better known as Madame Roland, together with her husband Jean-Marie Roland de la Platière, were active supporters of the revolution but she was to be executed during the Reign of Terror. She is remembered for looking up at the statue of Liberty from the guillotine and uttering “O Liberté, que de crimes on commet en ton nom!” (Oh Liberty, what crimes are committed in thy name!).
Post 1953 Parachute Regiment Majors Full Uniform Grouping consisting of two officers service dress pattern tunics, both with staybright anodised regimental tunic buttons and cloth parachute qualified jump wings. One service dress has bronze officers collar badges. Single Majors rank crowns to the shoulder boards. One service dress tunic is complete with the original set of trousers. Also accompanied by a No1 dress tunic with bullion parachute qualification wing to the arm, camouflaged airborne troops smock set with zip front and original cloth insignia to the arm and shoulder strap. The last item in the grouping is the full officers mess dress uniform of scarlet cloth with maroon facings and bullion parachute wings and regimental insignia. Grouping has inked name inside some of the tunics.
Post 1953 Grenadier Guards Colour Sergeants / Warrant Officers Dress Tunic of fine red cloth with stand up collar decorated with full gold braid decoration and bullion flaming grenade collar badges. Warrant officer pattern shoulder boards with embroidered regimental badge. To one arm is bullion and cloth colour sergeants rank badge. Cuffs decorated with gold braid and regimental staybright buttons to the front. Single medal ribbon loop to the breast. Accompanied by a pair of dress trousers with red stripe. Very good overall condition showing just light service wear.
EIIR Irish Guards Drummers Dress Ceremonial Tunic of red scarlet cloth with embroidered decoration to the front and arms. Musicians wings to the shoulders. Staybright regimental tunic buttons. Good condition interior with the original size label, this is worn out and not clear. Good overall condition.
Post 1953 Grenadier Guards Colour Sergeants Dress Tunic of fine red cloth with staybright regimental tunic buttons. Blue collar with bullion flaming grenade collar badges, white piped shoulder boards with bullion regimental badges. To the arm is colour sergeants rank badge placed on sergeants gilt braid rank stripes. Red cloth sash also present. Tunic remains in very good overall condition.
EIIR Royal Marines Officers Full Dress Tunic with heavy bullion officers collar badges. Blue cloth tunic with staybright tunic buttons to the front, back skirt and shoulders. Red collar with thick gold braid. Bullion twist shoulder boards with bullion rank pips. Single medal ribbon loop to the breast. Very good condition.
SS Officers Chained Dress Dagger housed in its original scabbard with hanging chains. Grip retains the original eagle and early copper based SS runes badges. Much of the original finish remains to the scabbard. Chains have SS rune marking to the reverse. Small chip to the top of the ebony handle at the front and a very small section to the bottom reverse. The blade is a correct unmaker marked example and retains nearly all of its original polish and cross graining, the motto is clear and complete. Sadly a tiny section of the tip of the blade has been broken off.
Luftwaffe Afrika Korps Engraved Dress Bayonet, being a standard issue dress bayonet with black chequered grips. Black painted scabbard with original leather bayonet frog. Eickhorn made blade. Blade has central panel with Luftwaffe eagle, oak leaves and steel helmet with inscription “Zur Erinnerung an meine Dienstzeit Lg. Stabz.b. V. Afrika". Blade remains in very good condition with much of the original polish.
Victorian Royal Artillery Officers Dress Pouch and Cross Strap, pouch is complete with the gilt metal artillery piece. Bullion work remains in good overall condition. Some wear to the velvet scrolls. Bullion work to the motto is damaged. Cross belt has its gilt metal fittings. Gold wire braid on leather cross strap. Moth nip to the reverse of the pouch but otherwise the item is in good condition.

The study is a landscape type. Signed to the bottom corner and dated 78 (1878). Housed in a glazed frame. Painting measures 34cm x 24cm, frame measures 50cm x40cm.
