Comment(s): Andrew Newell Wyeth was a visual artist, primarily a realist painter, working predominantly in a regionalist style. He is one of the best-known U.S. artists of the middle 20th century. In his art, Wyeth's favorite subjects were the land and people around him, both in his hometown of Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania, and at his summer home in Cushing, Maine. One of the best-known images in 20th-century American art is his painting, "Christina's World," currently in the collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York City. [28309-3-225]

An impressive and most substantial Mahogany and other woods Long-case Clock having an arched painted face with rolling moon to the arch, inset second-hand and date register, the face with Roman numerals and featuring ladies in elegant dress to the corners and buildings in a landscape to the arch, the face with the name ''Owen, Oswestry'', the panels to the case with flame Mahogany detail and banded decoration, 89 1/4'' high x 23 3/8'' wide x 9 1/2'' deep. Chiming weight missing but suspense wheel present, bell present but requires attention to mounting. Movement has been running satisfactorily for the past week.
