Long pale brown crepe sleeveless 1930's vintage dress with grey lace panels and brown crepe belt with diamante clasp. Together with a matching long sleeve bolero. (B.P. 24% incl. VAT) CONDITION REPORT: Lace generally in good condition but there is damage/tears under the arms of the dress in the crepe fabric. Some other smaller areas of damage to the crepe on the body of the dress. Some staining to the bolero, particularly to the inside around the armpits. Some very small areas of damage to the bolero. The dress is fully lined, bolero not lined. Appearing in good, original condition. Level is mid shoulder.

Blue 40's crepe dress with diagonal pleated bodice with embroidered sash to the neckline, elbow length sleeves and pleated skirt. Together with a black vintage 40's faille fabric calf length 3/4 sleeve A line coat with velvet collar by 'A Leslie Raymond model'. (2) (B.P. 24% incl. VAT) CONDITION REPORT: The coat is in very good condition with no obvious damage apart from one small pale mark on the right sleeve. The coat is fully lined. The dress is lined to the top of the bodice with a tulle fabric. Two grey zips one at back and one at side which are later editions. Generally in good condition for age apart from some small pale marks.

(2) (B.P. 24% incl. VAT) CONDITION REPORT: Dress - has brown stain on shoulder and skirt and some slight staining near the right underarm . The zip is stuck. Very small size. Otherwise in good condition. Coat - Appears to be in good condition with no obvious damage. Slight wear around collar and brown stain on collar near label.

Three underskirts, one tulle, silky pink layer and crinoline layer. The bodice has boning in it.

Two 1950's/60's cocktail dresses, one in blue with black flock roses and glitter decoration and tiered skirt at the back, the other a pink lace and tulle skirted dress with pink bow on bodice. (2) (B.P. 24% incl. VAT) CONDITION REPORT: Both in good condition for age. Lining of the pink dress has got some small areas of staining. Both have the loop to the top fastening broken. Both dresses are fully lined and have three layers of underskirts (tulle, silky and crinoline). Blue dress - zip is stiff at top and has an extra panel of lining half sewn in as if someone was trying to alter it to make it bigger (could be easily removed). Some staining to the underarms and lining. Tiered skirt is a bit crumpled so doesn't sit quite right. Some loose threads. Pink dress - generally good, silky layer of underskirts is stained but hard to see when on.

A black velvet 1940's/50's vintage short sleeve handmade dress with ruching around the collar, together with a black velvet bustier (probably 1960's) with diamante around the neckline with original Sportaville label and tag 'A Sportaville model, no. 582, size B38, tailored in London'. (2) (B.P. 24% incl. VAT) CONDITION REPORT: Both in good condition for age. The bustier unworn as tag still attached, zip slightly stiff, otherwise good. No obvious damage on either item.
Lot 58
1960's Jean Varon vintage cream satin full length wedding dress with attached satin flowers running down the middle, 3/4 length sleeves and train. Together with accessories to include: original white stiffened underskirt, cream satin kitten heel shoes (size 37) by Mondaine made in Italy in original cardboard shoe box, cream satin pill box hat with attached tulle veil in Fenwicks of Bond Street cardboard hat box and an artificial flower finial for a wedding cake in box. (B.P. 24% incl. VAT) CONDITION REPORT: Outfit is worn and has multiple pale brown stains on dress, shoes and hat. Dress has one larger stain on the front near one of the attached roses. Shoes - leather soles worn, satin worn and stained. Generally all wearable. Originally bought at Russell & Bromley. The veil is crumpled but undamaged.

Black 1920's long sleeve crepe flapper dress with beading at the waist and bottom of the skirt, has a Debenham Freebody London label. (B.P. 24% incl. VAT) CONDITION REPORT: Large size. Wearable but damaged. Rips in both sleeves and around the collar. Some of the beadwork is missing although generally complete. A little bit of slight staining on the front of the dress (looks like would wash out).

Two vintage evening dresses, one is a gold knitted lurex long sleeve 70's maxi dress from South Africa and the other is a bright red V neck probably 60's satiny knee length dress with 3/4 length sleeves and waterfall back. (B.P. 24% incl. VAT) CONDITION REPORT: Gold dress in good condition for the age. Red dress is hand made and has some over stitching at neck and a repair to the bottom of the skirt, some wear to the fabric.

Three vintage 1940's dresses to include: a dark red crepe dress with short sleeves and flower detail on chest and a matching jacket also with floral decorations (cut outs on net background), a black crepe belted long sleeve dress with pink embroidered collar and black embroidery, bow and button detail down the front and a floral print crepe long sleeve dress with buttons down the front (actually fastens by popper which are behind the buttons but do look original). (3) (B.P. 24% incl. VAT) CONDITION REPORT: All dresses are hand made and in good condition for the age. The floral dress originally had a belt. Red dress up by metal zip, black dress is slip on. Lining fabric at the collar of the red dress does cover part of the net detail. Black dress has some wear and small holes under the right armpit and some staining to the top of the collar.

(2 dresses, 3 items) (B.P. 24% incl. VAT) CONDITION REPORT: Linen dress - minor staining around the collar, probably originally had a belt, generally in good condition for the age. Bolero - one very small stain on the bolero but otherwise no obvious damage seen. Velvet dress - Seam at waist is slightly coming apart and small tear to seam at bottom of dress.

Three vintage 50's/60's day dresses to include; a green abstract cotton print wiggle dress with wide lapel and button detailing at the front, brown and green spotty print dress by Jacqmar with Forever young by Marie Moore label with 3/4 length sleeves and a sleeveless red dress with bow detail at shoulder and hip with Miss Peg Palmer label. (3) (B.P. 24% incl. VAT) CONDITION REPORT: Red and spotty dress would originally have had belts. Red dress apart from that in good condition with no obvious damage. Green and brown dress - one button slightly loose and seam has come loose on right hand pocket flap. Green print dress is missing a button but otherwise good.
