An English porcelain figure, probably Bow, circa 1765, modelled as a shepherdess wearing a lilac dress and floral underskirt, a recumbent lamb at her feet on a lilac ribbon leash, height approx 13.5cm (restored), together with a Bloor Derby gilt decorated green ground pastille burner (lacking cover, faults).
An early 18th Century fine needlework panel depicting a gentleman with long flowing hair and beard, wearing a white tunic and red cloak, near a dog in a hillocky landscape, a lady wearing a pink pannier dress standing in an arbour and three angels seated at a table beneath a tree beyond, in the far distance a stone and brick mansion, worked with coloured thread and wool in tent, cross, long and short stitches on a cream canvas ground, approx 36cm x 48cm, within a later ebonized and gilt frame.

A good c.1930's/40's black silk velvet evening dress stitched with black glass beads with floral swags and having "V" neck and back, short, wide sleeves, fitted to the body and falling in soft folds to a full skirt, a black silk velvet short cape with white metal bead detail to the back, a white short cape and a shaded purple cloche "pansie" hat ++generally good condition
A set of four late 19th Century Malkin Edge & Co dust pressed tiles black line transfer decorated with images of figures in period dress playing Old English sports to include leapfrog, marbles, catch and archery all hand colour washed and set within an oak surround, each tile 6" square, S/D.
MATA HARI: (1876-1917) Dutch Dancer and Courtesan, executed by a firing squad for espionage during World War I. Extremely rare signed and inscribed sepia 6.5 x 9 photograph of the exotic dancer standing in a full length pose wearing a long dress. Signed in fountain pen ink to the image, with an inscription in French, 'To the child of my soul in memory of times gone by, Mata'. The ink is a little weak in places although still legible. ELIZABETH II & PRINCE PHILIP: ELIZABETH II: (1926- ) Queen of the United Kingdom 1952- & PRINCE PHILIP (1921- ) Duke of Edinburgh, consort of Queen Elizabeth II. A good pair of individual signed 14 x 19 photographs by Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip. The Queen's image, by Dorothy Wilding, depicts her seated in a three quarter length pose in ceremonial dress and crown and the Prince's image, by Baron, shows him standing in a three quarter length pose in uniform. Signed by the Queen ('Elizabeth R') and Prince Philip ('Philip') to the lower photographer's mounts and both dated 1953 in their hands. Individually and professionally matted in light green and brown and framed and glazed in the original wooden frames (with attached engraved plaques) to an overall size of 25 x 32 each. Very slight thin band of discoloration at the base of the photographer's mount of Prince Philip's image, only lightly affecting the signature, otherwise VG, 2
HIROHITO: (1901-1989) Emperor Showa of Japan 1926-89 & KOJUN (1903-2000) Empress Consort. A very fine, early signed sepia 13 x 17.5 photograph by both Hirohito and Kojun individually, the formal image depicting the young Prince and Princess standing together in full length poses, Hirohito wearing dress uniform and Kojun with a small crown upon her head. Photograph by K. Esaki of Ginza, c. 1924-26, and signed by the photographer in pencil to the lower border. Boldly signed in dark ink by both Hirohito and Kojun individually to clear areas of the image. Contained in the original photographer's presentation folder. Signed photographs of the Emperor and his consort are extremely rare, and it is truly exceptional to find a signed image of this quality and from this period. THATCHER MARGARET: (1925- ) British Prime Minister 1979-90. An excellent original 8 x 11 pencil caricature, by an amateur artist, the sketch depicting Thatcher, wearing a blue dress, standing outside 10 Downing Street. Signed by Thatcher in bold blue ink with her name alone to a light area at the base. Signed and dated 26th October 1980 by the artist in the lower right corner. Accompanied by a T.L.S. from Thatcher's secretary. Rare in this form. VG
