A blue zircon and diamond dress ring, the rectangular step-cut blue zircon in claw setting, between millegrain set shoulders of old and rose-cut diamonds, two colour precious metal mounted, total weight of old-cut diamonds approximately 0.25ct, ring size approximately ICondition report: The zircon has a mid greenish-blue hue, with chips and abrasion to facet edges and scuffs/scratches to the surface. The zircon measures approx. 10.7mm length x 7.8mm width x 6.5mm depth. Diamonds have variable facet symmetry and are fairly lively, but three of the old-cut stones have chips/surface-reaching fractures, with estimated J to K colour and SI2 to P2 clarity, assessed mounted. The outer rose-cut diamonds have a typically greyish, fractired appearance. The mount has a two colour shank (white interior/yellow exterior) and there is a worn mark, possibly 'PT'. The mount has scuffs, scratches, nicks and chips throughout, commensurtae for use, and the shank is off-round, with a solder join to the back. Solder joins are present at junctions within the setting, presumed to be part of manufacture. Metal standard is untested. Gross weight approx. 4gm.

British Royal Navy Officers Full Dress Cap Set, consisting of officers full dress bicorn hat with bullion knotted cord leading to gilt kings crown button, ends with bullion work and black rosette. Interior with cloth lining and Gieves retailers details. Accompanied by the matching full dress epaulettes and a set of officers binoculars. All housed in the japanned storage tin named to “G W Alcock R.N”. The section which holds the officers dress belt does not appear to be able to be removed. Set generally in good overall condition.

German States Hanger, possibly for an officer’s dress use, mid-19th century, straight single edge blade with etched trophies (faint) cut with a pair of short narrow fullers towards the tip, brass cruciform hilt with acanthus quillon finials, pommel formed with 8 swollen lobes. Overall 73cms, blade 60cms. Good condition, some age wear.
Unusual 1796 Pattern Infantry Officers Sword, regulation blade etched with crowned GR, Royal Arms, standing officer, and martial trophy and retaining traces of gilding, regulation brass hilt with traces of gilding, inside of shell guards both engraved with crowned rose withing the garter motto, sheet silver covered grip in imitation of wire binding, remains of dress knot, in its brass mounted leather scabbard. Overall 93cms, blade 76cms. Generally good condition, some age wear overall.
Full British Court Dress Uniform & Cut Steel Hilt Sword in Storage Tin, fine example of a early 20th century crushed blue velvet coatee tunic with cut glass buttons to the front and ribbon rosette to the rear. Accompanied by matching pair of short trousers. Accompanied by the cut steel hilt court sword with etched blade. Small section of the leather scabbard absent and the bottom scabbard fitting loose. All housed in the original japanned metal storage tin with brass name plate, engraved “Mr Alderman Hanbart”. Due to the size of the item, we are not able to offer in house post and packing. We can advise of couriers who will deliver this item or personal collection will be required.
The blue dress uniform of Maj Henry Tufnell, Sussex Yeomanry, c 1939, comprising peaked cap with yellow band, bullion edge to peak, and gilt badge (collar size without scroll); jacket with gilt buttons (gilt worn) and chain epaulettes, the name label inscribed "H Tufnell Esq 5/39", the medal ribbons removed; and trousers with yellow stripe. GC (some very small moth patches). Maj Tufnell was DAQMG (Traffic) at HQ 13 Corps from 1st January 1944. He was recommended for the MBE for his efficiency in organising the traffic of the various formations of 13 Corps leading up to the battle of Monte Cassino, which opened on May 11th 1944. Accompanied by a copy of the MBE recommendation, details of the Battle of Monte Cassino, and details of Maj Tufnell. £100-150
