A very interesting collection of black and white photographs blown up from negatives included in this lot, mounted in an album depicting life in China circa 1927 including group shots believed to include Warlords, scenes of flooding in Hankow, funerals. Also images of the SS Allsonia, a Cunard passenger ship appearing to be on fire, there is no record of this fire, however she had to be re-fitted in 1927 for nor recorded reason. Other interesting images Depiet Maori women in native dress at mud springs possible Mount Baker along with typed information and C D disc of the negatives

Queen Victoria's mourning bodice and skirt, circa 1880s the bodice and skirt would have been worn as an evening dress. Both are in excellent condition. The silk taffeta bodice is heavily decorated in sequins, with chiffon sleeves, and has black lace edging down the front of the bodice and trims, the neckline and outer edging. The silk taffeta skirt is richly decorated in black lace. The outfit had been passed down from the family of a lady in waiting at the beginning of the century
An Edwardian heavily embellished wedding court dress originally in two pieces, made by Kate Riley circa 1903, next worn at court in 1913 before being given as a wedding dress by owner Alice Goring who passed it to her daughter in law Edna Bradbury who married W.G Goring (son) in 1933. It was later reconstructed in 1933 into a one piece wedding dress. The satin gown is decorated in beautifully reconstructed flowers and leaf pattern and tiny diamante beads to the elbow sleeves and V neckline, the skirt has a circular train and the waistline has a bow and ribbon detail. The heavily embroidered shoulder length train from 1903 was worn at the court of Edward VII. The Goring family are well known hoteliers, at the Goring Hotel
