A pair of enamelled ceramic pendant earrings and a similar pair of lapel buttons, the earrings with oval porcelain plaques painted with portraits of a young peasant girl and boy, in plain collets and mounts with fine ropetwist embellishment, the hook fixings with hemisphere bead fronts; the buttons with circular plaques similarly mounted and each depicting a young woman, one in contemporary 19th century dress and one in medieval dress; probably German, mounts test for 14ct gold, length of earrings with hook 4.2cm, diameter of buttons 3.0cm (2)
A coral and diamond dress ring, the high domed cabochon crescent of salmon pink coral set between two bands each containing two pavé set round brilliant cut diamonds, to plain shoulders and slightly tapering shank, size L, unhallmarked but stamped inside '585' Gross weight 5.60g. The coral is an arch, which measures 17mm span across the base (outside of the springing points), 6mm height from under the arch to the top (9mm from the springing point to the top), and is approximately 6.5mm thick. The coral is natural and shows no sign of dye or other treatment; it has minor scuffs but still a pleasing gleam of polish.The setting has wear and tear commensurate with age; the diamonds add class, but are unexciting.
An early Victorian double-sided pendant with a portrait miniature front and hairwork back, the oval pendant with cast foliate gilt frame holding a half-length portrait of a young girl with blue eyes and carefully arranged light brown hair in long ringlets, wearing a pearl necklace, a light blue décolleté dress and gauzy fichu around her bare shoulders; the reverse also glazed and containing curled and gold wire bound locks of light brown hair, presumably that of the sitter; the pendant with an associated suspensory loop with carved leaf decoration, tests for 15ct gold; length with suspensory loop 6.9cm, length of portrait 4.6cm
