A Victorian Staffordshire pottery flatback figural group of Queen Victoria and King Victor Emmanuel II of Sardinia, c1860, titled 'Queen and King of Sardinia', to the base, 34.5cm high, a Victorian Staffordshire pottery flatback figure of the Prince of Wales with a dog, titled to the base, 37cm high and two Victorian Staffordshire pottery flatbacks of couples, the first with the lady holding a parasol, 38.5cm high, the second with the lady holding a lute, 36cm high CONDITION REPORT: The dog's head has been broken off at the lower neck and re-glued/restored and the dog's nose has been restored also. There is crazing to the glaze. Some minor wear to the gilt lettering. There is a large hairline crack running below the King's shoulders and down his side 2/3 of the way down. There is another hairline crack running around the top of his head from his neck. There are two small firing cracks and a small amount of damage/fault? to the Queen's nose which has been restored/re-painted. Prince of Wales - The neck of the dog and the Prince are both broken and re-glued. There is some flaking of the paint. The glaze is crazed and the gilt is worn in places. The Couples - Couple One (Parasol) The base is restored including the man's leg and foot and the bottom of the dress, the centre and outside of the dress are also restored. The tips of both noses are rubbed. There is some wear to the gilding and enamel. There is restoration to the top of the lady's hat. The glaze is crazed in places. Couple Two (Mandolin) There is some wear to the gilding. The glaze is crazed. There are firing cracks beneath the ladies arms on both sides and between the man's legs and on the right of the woman's neck. There is some flaking to the black enamel

CONDITION REPORT: Case badly damaged. Some residue to edges of frame that appear on the edges only. both miniatures in good condition.
