A 1920'S BEADED FLAPPER DRESS A beautiful light brown georgette dropped waist dress with gold and charcoal grey bugle beads hand-sewn to the edges. The fabric is in a fair condition, although fragile and breaking away where the heavy beads are sewn. The dress has a side opening with poppers and a silk under-slip with side poppers. A pretty silk parasol which originally went with the dress. (2)
A 1920'S NEEDLE LACE WEDDING DRESS & VEIL Brussels style, capuccino 1920's lace ankle length dress, has been made from flounces of needle run lace tiered to form a chic elegance. The lace has been needle run through a ground of fine tulle, depicting roses and leaves, imitating Brussels needle point. The lace is intricate, hand sewn, light in weight. (There are a few tiny holes in the tulle, which hardly show, the dress needs to be cleaned, to brighten the colour.) There is an inner layer of very fine tulle, which doubles to make shoulder straps. There are no openings or fastenings. There is a soft silk slip with side poppers and silk straps. Size . Together with a veil of equally beautiful needle lace run on a soft fine tulle ground. (2)
EDWARDIAN WHITE TULLE & LACE TEA DRESS Fine white tulle with a central panel of lace running down the front and back across the shoulders and down the sleeves. The tulle has been pin-tucked below the lace waistband. Small dots of raised green embroidery run between the lines of lace. Fastened at the back with metal hooks and eye. A second layer of tulle has a pretty gathered trim around the hem which falls into a small train. 25" waist . (1)

Classical empire waist line, fastening down the front with original fabric covered buttons. The neckline falls low across the shoulders, adorned with lace and ribbon rosettes. The front of the dress is pinned closed. (The fabric is strong, but needs small attention)
AN 1860'S BEETLE WING EMBROIDERED ELABORATE COURT DRESS A three piece court dress made from emerald green silk satin, embellished in iridescent beetle wings, couched to the fabric in gold thread. The bodice is edged in lace with wide open sleeves, the front is embroidered with beetle wings, boned and the back was laced. The inner white satin skirt is tied around the waist with ribbon, there is a small pocket in the side of the skirt and the front is embroidered fully with beetle wings and gold couch work. The outer skirt is heavily padded along the outer edges falling into a long train at the back, decorated with beetle wings and gold couch work, with a flounce of lace lining on the underside. Labelled on the bodice 'C & H Dickins & Jones 232 - 234 Regent St, 31 Argyll Street' The beetle wings are as bright as new, the satin is in good condition although there is a stain on the inner white skirt. CIRCA 1892 CHRISTENING ROBE & EARLIER BONNET White satin robe with lace front and sleeves, made from a wedding dress and worn by Alexander Hood Mackinnon at his christening in Westminster Abbey London. Subsequently the robe has remained with the family having been to South Africa and back. And a bone handled parasol in a silk bag. (3)

AN IMPERIAL GERMAN OFFICERS SWORD. A late Imperial German Artillery officers Dress Sword, with red eyes in the Lions Mask pommel. Exceptionally clean slightly curved, plated 30.3/4" blade with makers mark WKC. This is partially hidden by the gilt langets, one of which has crossed cannon decoration. Ornately decorated stirrup hilt of Lions Mane and acorns etc, swept forward quillion with again a Lions Mask. Nickel finish scabbard with twin hanging loops, the plating is also in very good condition. See Illustration
AN 1805 PATTERN ROYAL NAVY LIEUTENANTS SWORD. An 1805 Pattern Naval Lieutenants 'Lighweight' or Dress Sword. Ornate hilt with stirrup guard bearing entwined foilage, anchor and crown decorated langets. Straight tapering six-sided narrow blade of 27.3/4" length. Lightly etched decoration, to the first few inches of the blade, lacking a scabbard.
A GUARDS OFFICERS TUNIC C1945 Wartime Coldstream Guards officers uniform items, including No 1 dress and Blues, trousers, shirts, greatcoat, etc. Size 3 the tunics with tailors label inside, one dated 1943. Two under-suits for cold weather wear, tanks or automobiles etc. No1 dress peaked hat with silver coloured metal/enamel officers Coldstream Guards Badge, also a blues peaked officers cap with s/c/m and enamel badge . Most of this lot is in well kept almost undamaged condition.
A GROUP OF WW11 MEDALS AND KOREA PAIR TO A MAJOR RASC. 1939/45-Africa and Burma Stars, Defence & War medals, Korea Service Medal named to Mjr R W Patterson RASC, UN Korea medal. Mounted for wear with a matching miniature group and badge and buttons (R W Kent blazer buttons). A silver and enamel cased Masonic award of the Rupert Patterson Lodge No 3646. On the reverse is inscribed Presented to Mrs J Rupert Patterson to commemorate the Mastership of her husband as first WM January 1914. Hallmarks for London 1913. A full dress cap badge in enamel and metal for the Royal Army Service Corps. Rupert William Patterson was born on the 13th August 1914, commissioned into the Army on the 21st February 1940. Major on the 13th August 1950, retiring 1/12/1957. Educated at Sherborne School from 1928-32 as a Law Student, son of J R Patterson of Penang. From 1933-37 he was serving in the Royal West Kent Regt. 1937- He served in the 4/7th Royal Dragoon Guards. In 1934 a 2/Lt R W Patterson was commissioned into the 20th London Regt. War Services 1939-45 shows that he sevred in the ranks for 1 year and 141 days, prior to Emergency Commission 2/Lt 21/2/1940 Serving in the British Expeditionary Force in 1940 he was awarded promotion in the field. War Subst Lt 21/8/1941. Act Captain 25/12/1941 then T/Capt 25/3/1942. Finally Major in 1950. From 1940-42 He served in the Middle East including Abyssinia and Somalia In 1943 He was serving in Ceylon, thence 1944-45 in Burma as an acting Major. Finally in the Korean War with the Royal Army Service Corps, up to his retirement in 1957. He lived in Kenya after this time then latterly in Austria.
