A 1796 Pattern Heavy Cavalry Officer's Dress Sword, the single edge blued and gilt steel blade engraved with Britannia, martial trophies, Royal Coat of Arms and foliage, inscribed Osborn & Gunby's Warrented, the gilt brass hilt with foliate chased hinged double shell guard, wire bound grip, stirrup knuckle bow and leaf capped vase shaped pommel, with red, yellow and gilt lace strap and tassel, brass mounted leather scabbard and leather belt clip.
A 19th Century American Officer's Dress Sword by the Ames Manufacturing Company, Chicopee, the single edge slender fullered steel blade stamped US J.H. 1864, and with maker's name, the brass hilt with wire bound grip, stirrup knuckle bow and spherical pommel, with canvas slip and tooled leather case stamped The Henderson-Ames Co. Kalamazoo, Mich.

Signed black and white photograph, signed in Russian by [Yuri] Gagarin, Jherman Titov, Andryan Nikolayev and Pavel Popovich, early 1960s, the slightly grainy photo showing the four cosmonauts in military dress smiling from behind a stone wall with flowers, each signed on the diagonal above their respective cap in different pens, 12 x 18cm. A rare group photo of the first four Russians in space. Yuri Gagarin (1934-1968) piloted Vostok 1 (12th April 1961) and was the first man in space, orbiting for 1 hour and 48 minutes. Titov, Nikolayev and Popovich piloted Vostok 2, Vostok 3, and Vostok 4 each orbiting the earth numerous times between 1961 and 1962. (1)
