Britains set 94 Empress of India’s 21st Lancers in service dress (steel helmets), loose in 1920s picture label box, G in F box 1 lance tip missing, 1 horse with repaired rear leg, bugler very light retouching, figures otherwise slightly worn but complete. Box with later insert, base with 1 split corner, lid worn, label complete but generally stained.
Britains set 195 British Infantry in Service Dress at the Trail, grey helmets, in Whisstock box, G in F box all pieces complete, slight chipping of paint on several figures. One rifle slightly bent. Box shows areas of dicolouration with areas of the paper covering peeling away . Label is ripped, heavy rubbing to the edges and pencil marks on the base. Replacement tie card.
Britains set 195 British Infantry in Service Dress at the Trail, with officer, in original ROAN box, VG in G box Slight rubbing and chipping of paint on soldiers legs. Box shows light rubbing to the corners and edges, discolouration to the left side of the front label and the side label is peeling in upper left corner
Britains set 1510 British Sailors Regulation Dress, Types of the Royal Navy box, G box G All pieces present. Chips to the sailors faces, hands and uniforms. Loss of paint underneath right arms, likely a result of the arm swinging. Light scuffs to the edges and corners, paper peeling away from the base. Label is crinkled and shows signs of water damage and several small tears to the edge. Pencil graffiti to the base of the box.
Britains set 1723 Royal Army Medical Corps, in battle dress, in ROAN box, F box F All pieces present. Areas of paint loss to the figures, particularly the nurses uniforms and soldiers hands. Box is scuffed around the edges and corners, label has several small rips to the edges and has a number of small dark spots on the right side.
An 18thC whale's tooth scrimshaw of unusually large proportions, with engraved scene to one side of a three masted sailing ship with four whales off her bow in pursuit of other whales, one blowing, the other with flukes above the water, the lead boat with harpoonist at the ready. The scene verso is decorated with a lady in period dress in a garden beside a manor house with stone arbour, the rim florally decorated (26cm long)
