Third Reich Police Dress Bayonet, having stag horn grips with aluminium Police eagle insignia to the centre. Eagle head top pommel and oak leaf decorated cross guard. Housed in the original leather and metal fitted scabbard. Complete with the original brown leather frog which has a German Fire Service bayonet frog correctly attached. Excellent condition blade with WKC knights head trade mark and makers full details mark to the other side. Cross guard numbers and scabbard numbers are not matching. Bayonet frog has stamped makers mark and is dated 1929. Very good example overall.

Blade remains in good overall condition with much of the cross graining remaining. Tiger Solingen makers trade mark to the base of the blade. Some staining to the blade and light wear to the fittings but generally good condition.

Regulation gilt brass hilt with crowned fouled anchor in guard, lion head pommel, folding sideguard, bullion dress knot (incomplete), wire bound black fishskin grip, in its gilt brass mounted scabbard with maker’s elaborate embossed badge to locket. Good condition, retains much original gilding overall, blade with some cleaned light pitting.

Rare 2nd Model Railway (Bahnschutz) Officers Dress Dagger with Original Deluxe Hanging Straps, very nice example of this pattern of dress dagger worn by Railway officials during the Third Reich. Aluminium fittings retaining much of the original silver overlay finish. Black twist handle with ball top pommel having stylised swastika to the centre. Cross guard with the winged wheel insignia to the centre. Housed in the original scabbard with two ring mounts for the hanging straps. Blade remains in near mint condition with Paul Weyersberg & Co Solingen makers trade mark to the base. Much of the original cross graining remains to the blade. Black velvet backed cloth hanging straps with the more unusual square buckle fittings, aluminium top fitting and small clips marked to the reverse DRGM and M5/10. Straps match the condition of the dagger perfectly. This dagger set was brought home after WW2 as a souvenir by the vendors neighbour. It remained in a cupboard since then and was gifted by the veteran to the vendor shortly before he died.

Nickel silver top pommel and cross guard with short wing eagle and voided swastika. Housed in the original correct pattern scabbard with black leather covering and nickel silver mounts. Mint condition blade retaining nearly all the original polish and cross graining. Paul Weyersberg & Co, Solingen makers trade mark to the base of the blade. Very good example of this scarce dress dagger.

RAD Leaders Dress Dagger with Original Hanging Straps, excellent example of a RAD labour front officers dress dagger, near perfect ivorine grips to both sides, stylised eagle head top with cross guard having organisation insignia to the centre. Housed in its original scabbard which is also in very good condition with no major dents or plating lifting. Near mint condition blade with much of the original finish and motto “Arbeit adelt”. Base of the blade with Alcoso Solingen makers trade mark. Correct pattern brown leather hanging straps with felt backing, original metal clips and buckle fittings. Bottom clips marked with DRGM to the reverse. Overall a fine condition set.

Some surface staining to the blade and wear to the scabbard finish but otherwise a good example made by a scarcer maker.

Printed red on navy blue MP brassard. Interior of the tunic retains the original size 10 issue label. Accompanied by the matching pair of 1939 dated other ranks khaki service dress trousers with original braces fitted. Stiff top peaked service cap of khaki wool with red cloth top, brass regimental cap badge and thin brown chinstrap. Oilskin liner to the inside with white printed maker and size stamp. Set remains in very good overall condition.

Stag horn grips with white metal Weimar police eagle insignia attached. Etched cross guard and top eagle head pommel. Clamshell guard with Weimar pattern eagle to the centre. Polished blade by Alex Coppel and with Imperial issue markings to the edge. Housed in the original scabbard with bayonet frog and Police pattern dress portepee attached. Single edged etched blade with Royal Arms and crowned anchor. Blade remains in near mint condition. Blade measures 45cm in length.

Guard retains the original press button. Attached to the handle is Kriegsmarine issue gold portepee. Standard pattern scabbard with two hanging rings. Blade remains in mint condition with etched sailing ship decoration. Base of the blade has PUMA Solingen makers mark. Puma made very few Kriegsmarine daggers so as a result these are highly sort after. Very good example.

Luftwaffe eagle cross guard remains in very good condition. Complete with the original bullion dress portepee. Scabbard remains in very good condition with both hanging rings intact. Blade with Carl Eickhorn makers mark to the base, obscured by the cross guard. Some light surface staining to the blade but generally a good example.

Attached to the guard is the original officers dress portepee with two central green strips. Slightly curved single edged blade with finely etched blade with trophies of arms and foliage. Alcoso makers mark to reverse of the blade. Blade measures 79cm in length.

Leather washer underneath the cross guard. Some surface staining to the blade. Attached to the dagger is the original special pattern Government officials portepee with smaller sized acorn end. Dagger remains in very good overall condition with nice patina to the exterior parts. Rare dagger to find.

Third Reich RAD (Labour Service) Enlisted Ranks Hewer Dress Dagger, two piece stag horn grip with plated eagle beak and bottom section with thick cross guard. Original black painted scabbard with both top and lower fittings. Lower fitting has the RAD emblem to both sides. Fixed single loop for the attachment of the hanging strap. Blade remains in very good condition with much of the original finish. Motto to the blade “Arbeit adelt”. Reverse of the blade has Carl Eickhorn makers mark and RAD acceptance mark. Generally a very good example.

British 1895 Pattern Royal Marines Officers Sword, standard Victoria 1895 pattern sword complete with metal dress scabbard. Grip retains the original wire binding. Crowned VR to the hilt. Blade etched with foliage and Royal Marines insignia with motto. Spine of the blade stamped M2335. Blade is heavily polished with a portion of the detail being erased. Some plating lifting and staining to the scabbard. Blade length 82cm.

Sharkskin grip retaining the original wire. Gold bullion wire dress knot with blue fleck. Original black leather scabbard with gilt metal fittings. Catch fitting to the reverse engraved “D.BAILEY”. Mint condition single edged blade with etched crown fouled anchor and George VI monogram. Base of the blade has Wilkinson Sword Co Ltd makers mark and the spine of the blade is numbered 68803. Sword is housed in the original oilskin carry bag.

1822 Pattern British Infantry Officers Dress Sword, being a William IV / Victorian example. Gilt brass swept gothic hilt with central cartouche having crowned VR and IV underneath. Fish skin grip retaining the original wire. Fold down guard to the reverse. Housed in the original black leather scabbard with gilt metal mounts. Slightly curved single edged pipe backed blade which measures 81 ½ cm in length. Some surface staining to the blade which has worn away the etched decoration. Much of the original gilt wash finish remains to the exterior fittings.

Regimental collar badges, brass RAC shoulder titles and two rank pips to each shoulder board. Embroidered Rough Riders cloth shoulder titles and printed 56th Armoured division. Privately tailored lining to the interior which remains in very good overall condition. City of London Yeomanry became part of the Royal Armoured Corps in 1947.
