An 18th century French ivory and yellow metal mounted Carnet de Bal, the front with finely painted oval miniature painting depicting two young children kissing beside a goat, the reverse an oval miniature painting depicting a lady with a young girl and a dog tugging at her dress, both within a yellow metal border with pierced yellow metal 'Souvenir' and 'D'Amitie', the hinged cover opening to reveal a three-leaf ivory dance card, 8.5cms (3.25ins) high.Condition ReportMissing its pencil and a few retaining pins to the yellow metal mounts, slight split to the yellow metal border to the left hand side and the the base of same area otherwise good overall condition

A Raymond Weil gold plated ladies dress watch, having a signed dial, on a bracelet strap, in a caseCondition report: Looks to be complete, but has been worn, so has various light marks around the case and strap. The clasp fastens ok. Is not currently running, so we cannot check if it keeps time, but adjusts ok.
Manner of Thomas Faed, Who is The Tallest, oil, 29 x 17cm29 x 17cmCondition report: Framed and glazed and has not been removed recently, so is not easy to inspect, but appears to be complete and signed with initials faintly. Well painted in my opinion. There is some obvious crazing within the paint, visible mostly on the dress and legs. The frame looks old, but is quite damaged around most edges. Was consigned at the saleroom with other lots, so we do not have any provenance.
A British naval officers dress sword with shagreen grip and leather scabbard with etched blade, 81cm long. CONDITION REPORT: The dress sword is in good all round condition. The blade has some areas of pitting and corrosion. Very slight play in the blade at the hilt. The sword is tight in the scabbard and doesnt go in flush?
British naval officers dress sword, the blade is etched with crowned anchor amidst scrolls made by Henry Wilkinson, London, retailed by Gienes. Gilt metal hilt with lions head, pommel and wire bound fish skin grip and dress knot with a gilt metal mounted leather scabbard. Blade 80cm long. CONDITION REPORT: Retailed by Gienes, Mathew and Seagrave Ltd. The sword is in excellent condition, some light tarnish and some very minor pitting to the blade. Tarnish to hilt. Scabbard very good, some light corrosion to the gilt metal mount at the point of the scabbard (blue colour).
Marcasite silver jewellery to include a panel bracelet, pierced form, tongue and box clasp with safety chain, width approx 2.5cm, couple of marcasite stones missing; oval brooch (central marcasite missing); pair of 1920s dress clips (one stone missing) and an amethyst dress ring, all marcasite stones present and intact (q)
