Three 20s/30s dresses to include an orange 1920s dress by Bonwitt Teller, complete with its slip. The dress is trimmed with colobus fur and has an integral scarf hanging from one shoulder, an orange chiffon 1930s dress with floral print and neckerchief collar, and a C1929/30 satin dress in sherbet orange (3)satin dress has some minor colour variation, tiny marks, scuffs and pulls. It presents really well, there is nothing obvious.The chiffon dress is generally strong and has no conspicuous damage, there is a small hole on the upper back, and the skirt has scattered small holes plus one slightly larger. The 20s dress is generally strong. there are some small marks and an area of pin head sized holes by the armhole at the front and some small holes on the bottom of the drape.*******Please note, there are export restrictions on this lot outside of the UK.*********

3 1920s dresses to include a beaded black dress with blousy bodice and 2 silk dresses (3)beaded dress is in pretty good order, fabric is strong, there is an opening at the bottom of the side seam (possibly done for ease of movement), fabric isn't damaged, its just missing stitching. There are a few loose beads, but most are in place. the red and black silk dress has shred on the shoulders, underarms have light staining and one has stitched repairs and shred. the slits in the bodice are for threading a ribbon/ tie, they aren't holes. the ivory and black dress needs binding around the armholes (looks like it may have had sleeves), shoulders have shredded and repairs started on one

1950s milk chocolate silk cocktail dress by Ceil Chapman. 26.5 inch/ 68cm waist (1)The dress is generally in good condition. There is some wear to the silk on the shoulder and one of the back seams in the skirt is partially open, the fabric isn't damaged, just the thread. There are a couple of faint grease (?) marks back hip and very small, very faint marks at the underarm.

(2)blue suit has some small nibbles to the collar and a patch of discolouration to the lining, silk suit has a small underarm repair and a couple of inconspicuous marks
