Two Continental novelty silver figural pepper potsfirst Hanau, stamped .930, mark of Ferdinand C. Henzler, Chester import marks, 1923 by William Ehrhardt, in the form of Dutch girl, the other unmarked, probably Dutch, in the form of a boy in traditional dress, on a circular base, inscribed Volendam, (2)first height 9.6 cm. weight approx.4.4 ozt.Condition: The hinge of the girl has been replaced with a wire. Head does not close firmly.
Three items of late 19th century Chinese ivory carvings, comprising an okimono depicting a geisha with flower encrusted parasol, with patterned decoration to her dress, signed to the underside, height 16cm (lacking left hand), a carved parasol handle with white metal woven top, with lion finial, length 19cm and a carved ivory needle case decorated with birds, dragons and flowers, length 15cm (3).
A pair of miniature portrait prints, young ladies in period costume, an original Edwardian Tucks Aquarette postcard dated 1906 with penny stamp, 'Evening Glow', and one other original Edwardian Tucks Aquarette postcard 1906 with penny stamp, 'Sunrise', two 19th century pot lids, one warship on stormy seas and, 'Village Wedding', and a contemporary portrait miniature of young lady in Empire style dress and headband, initialled to the side, all framed and glazed (9).
Seven display cards with Victorian and Edwardian beadwork examples, to include collars, motifs, a pair of bronze rabbit beaded examples, a c1920s beaded dress decoration, bronze example, etc (7). CONDITION REPORT The majority have been taken from antique and vintage textiles, they are in various conditions, all useable.
A group of Victorian, Edwardian and later textiles, to include a c1920s chiffon and net jet beaded dress with V-neck back, dropped waist and chiffon sleeves (af), a Victorian black silk and satin beadwork collar with bugle bead fringing, an Edwardian black silk Mandarin-style jacket with French knot and bead decoration, an Edwardian black silk blouse with floral lace inserts to bodice and sleeves and a Victorian black velvet jet embellished evening jacket with cape, Mandarin collar, lace panel to the front, lace insert panels to the full sleeves, with black satin ribbons (5). CONDITION REPORT In various conditions, all af and in need of attention, but are exquisite examples of textiles beadwork, suitable for repair or other projects.
An early 20th century long lace gown with elbow-length sleeves, a vintage ivory silk chiffon lined evening wrap stole, a c1920s section of a beaded flapper dress, an early 20th century black silk jacket with all-over floral and leaf gold embroidery and an early 20th century children's ivory Shantung silk double-breasted jacket (5). CONDITION REPORT The black lace dress is in predominantly good condition, one shoulder of sleeve needs repair, the corner of the square neck is in need of repair. The ostrich wrap has no apparent damage. The Shantung jacket has small areas of wear to back. Gold and black jacket is in good vintage condition. Good beadwork on section of 1920s dress.
Four Edwardian and later items of clothing comprising an Edwardian black silk beaded and sequinned top, with full-length sleeves and black satin trim, a central panel of sequin on net to a deep lace trim to the waist, a mid-20th century black net drop-waisted full-length evening dress in the 1920s style, with all-over bead embroidery, a similar period full-length shift dress, black silk chiffon, with all-over bead embroidery and a c1920s flapper dress with all-over black bead decoration, with red bugle bead floral decoration to the bottom (4). CONDITION REPORT All in quite good antique/vintage textile condition. The dress with red floral beading has areas of missing beadwork to the top of panels.

A Victorian 16th (The Queen’s) Lancers Other Ranks Full Dress Lance Cap or Chapka Constructed of a black patent leather skull and similar top with ribbed cloth side panels with yellow orris cord trim, a waistband of yellow and red linen. Complete with a red woollen rosette plume holder with a central button, supporting a white horsehair plume, and a brass chin chain (a.f) with a cotton and leather backing supported by lion mask mounts to either side. The die-stamped bronze helmet plate with battle honours. Interior of the helmet dated 1884, complete with black leather sweatband and waxed cotton lining (worn).
A khaki-covered leather suitcase containing an R.A.F kit bag stencilled '2450791 11-49' together with an RAF greatcoat, O.A jacket dated 1945 and War Service Dress blouse further dated 1945, with Leading Aircraftman arm patches, named to '2450791 Garr' (uniform heavily crumpled, in particular the greatcoat - all items very much in need of a good clean)
