Antique Jumeau French doll ‘ 27.5” large Tete Jumeau Size 12 bisque head doll with fixed large Brown original glass eyes,cork deep original Pate together with the original 19th Dress in silk from Paris in which sold and elaborate ivory silk with roses Hat with perish , and a replacement detailed styled dress and bonnet . The dolls head appears to be undamaged, with dark brown wig, Large original French paper weight eyes , open mouth with row of teeth, pierced earrings, original body with Jumeau on lower torso and all limbs , which is largely unstrung , with some lines and paint divisions as shown and requires restringing as loose. All limb and torso original and have some wear , hands and fingers good and complete. The torso has the now mute 2 beaded cords for an interior cry bellows and cords remain .The original 19thC dress and bonnet is included although the dress bodice is badly perished as shown in the photograph and the large wired bonnet also retains the silk original roses. There is a replacement cream outfit( from 1980s ) and some various undergarments of vintage age. A beautiful faced French commanding sized doll worthy of restringing .
