First World War period Argyll and Southern Highlanders Captains full dress jacket with tailor's label - John Jones & Co. Military Outfitters, 6 Regent St. London - W. M. Burt Marshall. Sold with research about Captain W. M. Burt Marshall, who served in France in August 1914, fighting in the Battle of Aishe, leading a bayonet charge right up to the German barbed wire, where he was hit and fell, but rose again and dashed back to his trench, where he fell again. He died on 17th November 1914, aged 27

A 1970's 'Anna Belinda' of Oxford lawn cotton lined dress. Beautifully tailored with blue piping to collar, cuffs and hem - fastens with blue covered buttons to front of garment. A 60's 'Jean Allen' blue chiffon cocktail dress with matching stole. A 1980's 'Helene Straber' pink wool suit. The jacket feature fastens with covered velvet buttons of two different sizes. Fitted pencil skirt with black velvet belt and piping detail to waistband. All items in good vintage condition. (5)

A 1950's 'Miss Jane Junior' black satin and net party dress with bodice detail and diamante belt. Small size 6 - 8. An Edwardian taffeta bolero and sash - marked to back. (4)
A fabulous vintage 80's 'Frank Usher' silk rayon beaded and sequinned evening dress. A fitted, lined black sheath dress with three-quarter length sleeves and padded shoulders with splits either side at the hem. The geometric style of the ornate beadwork gives the dress a very Deco look. The garment is labelled large though looks to be a size 14-16. (1)
