WW2 era German dress bayonet with associated scabbard. Nickel plated pommel, cross guard and blade, the latter single edged and with fuller to both sides. Original leather washer at ricasso. Black painted scabbard with frog stud. The item appears to be lacking any makers mark. Approximately 40.5cm length when in scabbard. Condition: very good. Some dulling to the nickel finish on the pommel and cross guard. The blade is clean and bright with only minor wear. The scabbard is very good, with very little paint loss.
A 19th century Victorian British Navy midshipman’s dirk. Brass cross guard with integral release catch, fouled anchor langet, and acorn tipped quillons. Lion’s head pommel, with its mane forming the backpiece. Wire binding to the grip, which would of originally had a fish skin covering, but this would appear to have perished. Brass ring through the lions mouth, onto which is fitted a bullion dress knot. Steel single edged blade, with etched decoration, including Queen Victoria’s VR cypher and crown, plus a fouled anchor. Complete with leather scabbard, with engraved brass throat and chape. 2 suspension rings attached to the brass throat. Approximately 60cm length in scabbard, blade length 45cm. Condition: generally solid, with service wear. The fish skin grips have perished, leaving only traces to the wooden base, which has been painted to mimic the original colour. Some parts of the wire binding are also missing from the handle. Some minor dents to the brass throat and chape on the scabbard. The bullion knot has darkened with age and is mostly intact. A few darkened patches and surface corrosion to the blade.
WW2 era German army officer’s dress dagger, with original hanging straps. Orange celluloid grip with oak leaf patterned nickel plated pommel. Usual cross guard depicting the national eagle and swastika, with scroll ends. Pebbled nickel plated scabbard with 2 suspension rings. Double edged blade marked ‘WKC Solingen’ at the ricasso. Silver braided straps with olive green velvet backing. Overall length 40cm, blade length 25cm. Condition: generally good, with service wear. Hairline crack to the celluloid grip coming down from the pommel. Some minor wear to the nickel plating in places. The scabbard is dented to both sides near the chape. Straps in good condition.
WW2 German Luftwaffe officers dress dagger, with hanging straps and portapee. Orange celluloid grip with twisted wire binding, nickel plated pommel with oak leaf and swastika detail. Usual cross guard with Luftwaffe eagle and swastika. Pebbled scabbard, with oak leaf patterned chape and bands. Double edged blade with no visible makers mark. Silver braided straps with brown velvet backing, plus silver braided portapee. Notes: the scabbard is engraved with the word or name ‘Regula’. Overall length 42cm, blade length 25cm. Condition: generally very good. There is a small amount of the celluloid grip missing near the pommel, but the wire binding is fully intact. The scabbard is good, with light wear to the pebbled finish, and some age related darkening to the metal in places. The blade is clean and bright, and free of any damage. Both the straps and portapee show light service wear to the fabric and threads, but are generally very good.
A WW2 era German fireman’s dress dagger, with associated scabbard, Carl Eickhorn of Solingen. Nickel plated pommel, chequered black Bakelite grips secured by 2 rivets. S shaped nickel plated cross guard. Nickel plated single edged blade with fuller to both sides, leather washer at ricasso. Black painted scabbard with frog stud. Approximately 40cm length when in scabbard. Condition: generally good. Small amount of plate loss and mottling to pommel and cross guard. Scabbard showing some paint loss from service wear. Blade is clean and bright, and just has normal track lines from scabbard.
A WW2 era German dress bayonet with associated scabbard. Nickel plated pommel and cross guard, with red felt insert to the morticed slot. Black chequered Bakelite grips with two retaining rivets. Blade marked AC with scales logo for Alex Copel, with single edge and fuller to both sides. Black painted metal scabbard with frog stud. Approximately 40.2cm in length when in the scabbard. Condition: generally very good. Almost all the nickel plating remains to the cross guard and pommel, with working press stud button. Intact grips, and a bright clean blade. Some wear to the black painted finish, but nothing that detracts whatsoever.
Armand Marseille - A vintage German Armand Marseille doll with Markings AM 351.... unable to make out other characters. Doll appears to have an Africa style with long flowing dress and cardigan in red. Eyes have come loose in head. Head is loose yet connected. 31cm head to toe. (This does not constitute a guarantee).
