Two similar 9ct gold cufflinks, each in a curved square link design, with engine turned decoration to the backs and to the fronts, Birmingham 1945 and 1946, combined weight 4.9 gms, a case to hold a set of six dress buttons and a Smith's De Luxe 9ct gold circular cased gentleman's wristwatch, the signed silvered dial with gilt Arabic and arrow shaped numerals and with subsidiary seconds, on a leather strap (3).
An 18ct gold cased, keyless wind, openfaced dress watch, with an unsigned jewelled lever movement, detailed Swiss Made, 18ct gold inner case, the silvered dial with black Arabic numerals, subsidiary seconds and with blued steel hands, import mark London 1910, with a gold two colour twin baton shaped and knot link dress Albert chain, fitted with a swivel and a boltring, weight of chain 8.5 gms, (2).
A precious yellow metal opal and diamond-set dress ring, the precious opal claw-set to a surround of circular cut diamonds; and a pair of opal doublet ear clips set in 14ct gold (2) Condition Report The ring: dimensions of opal: 19.5mm x 13.4mm. Dimensions of top of ring: 22.8mm x 17.5mm. The opal has one or two tiny surface marks but does not appear to have any significant dehydration cracks. The opal has an attractive play of colour principally shades of green and blue but lacks oranges and reds. The surrounding diamonds look to be fairly white stones with one or two internal inclusions, one diamond looks to be badly chipped. The ring however, is rather dirty and it is difficult to examine the diamonds closely. The shank of the ring is bound with plastic wire and it is not possible to measure the size of the ring or to see if there are any hallmarks. The ear clips: The backs of the ear clips are marked 14K above 22K and further marked possibly reading 'SHAW'. Marks are more clear on one ear clip than the other. Clip fittings are in good condition, the springs are working properly. The opals are of similar colouring to the ring with strength of colours in shades of blue and green. It has not been possible to examine the edges of the opals due to the settings. Opals have one or two tiny insignificant surface marks, the opals are not of identical shape. Otherwise good condition.
A Jaeger-Le Coultre Reverso 18ct gold, diamond and ruby set dress wristwatch, the signed silvered dial with gilt Arabic and baton numerals and gilt hands, the case corners set with circular cut rubies and otherwise mounted with rows of circular cut diamonds to the case borders, detailed 18 K 750, fitted to a leather strap with an associated buckle, with a guarantee certificate dated 6/10/98, two further booklets, case and box. Condition Report The dial and hands are in good condition. The case is in good condition. The caseback is numbered: 265.1.86 1771245 There are a few minor hairline scratches to the caseback. The watch appears to have only had slight use. There is no Jager-Le Coultre logo to the replacement strap buckle, which does not look to be of original quality. The watch is manual wind up and is currently working. The case and box are in good condition. Length of case including lugs: 32.8mm, width of case excluding winding button: 20.5mm. There is a surface nick to the ruby set winding button.
