The ring however, is rather dirty and it is difficult to examine the diamonds closely. The shank of the ring is bound with plastic wire and it is not possible to measure the size of the ring or to see if there are any hallmarks. The ear clips: The backs of the ear clips are marked 14K above 22K and further marked possibly reading 'SHAW'. Marks are more clear on one ear clip than the other. Clip fittings are in good condition, the springs are working properly. The opals are of similar colouring to the ring with strength of colours in shades of blue and green. It has not been possible to examine the edges of the opals due to the settings. Opals have one or two tiny insignificant surface marks, the opals are not of identical shape.
