WWI : An early 20thC Royal Artillery Officer's dress sword , the 34 1/2" single - fullered steel blade with profuse decoration , incorporating the George V cipher , Royal coat of arms and the Royal Artillery emblem , bordered by stylised roses , shamrock and thistles within sectional acanthus scrollwork .
