Rare Imperial German Officers Full Dress Busby (Pelzmutze) of the Prussian Leib-Garde-Husaren Regiment, superb example of the light brown fur officers full dress busby with its officers Garde regiment enamelled busby plate to the centre. Officers reichs pattern cockade with officers gilt metal scaled chinstraps. Bullion Prussian state officers field cockade. Original Prussian officers cord busby lines with black fleck and knotted top. Complete with the correct red busby bag. Correct officers feather and white horse hair front plume / hackle. Interior of the busby has the light tan leather sweatband and white artificial silk lining. Leather trim to the sweatband. The busby is housed in its original storage box with the interior lid having label for Eduard Lachs, Berlin. Overall a superb example of a very rare item of Imperial German headdress.

Third Reich Erased Rohm Inscription SA Dagger by Ernst Pack & Sohne (E.P & S), good untouched example of a early model SA (Sturmabteilung) dress dagger with light coloured brown wood grip retaining the original enamel SA device and eagle emblems. Reverse of the lower cross guard stamped with gau mark “Wf”. Housed in the original anodised scabbard with single hanging ring. Double edged blade with motto “Alles fur Deutschland”. Reverse of the blade has the remains of the original Ernst Rohm dedication which has had just his name removed as per the regulations after the night of the long knives, where Ernst Rohm was removed from power. Dagger has the remains of the Ernst Pack & Sohne trademark. Overall a good untouched example of a erased inscription dress dagger. Housed in its typical RZM production scabbard with leather hanger attached to the top mount. Near mint condition blade which retains much of the cross graining. Blade is marked to the reverse with RZM logo and M7/37, being the maker codes for Robert Klass, Solingen. Blade 22cms, overall 37 ½ cms.

Scarce Third Reich SA Dress Dagger by Aesculap Tuttlingen, excellent example with the typical lacquer finish to the handle which is a trademark of this maker. Enamel SA emblem and nickel silver eagle to the grip. Reverse side of the lower cross guard stamped “Sw”. Complete with its original scabbard which has a leather covering to the centre and an original brown leather hanger attached. Superb condition double edged blade with much of the blacking still remaining to the motto of the blade, “Alles fur Deutschland”. Makers trademark to the back of the blade. Third Reich SS Officers Chained Dress Dagger, good untouched example of a Model 36 officers dress dagger for the SS. Nickel silver mounts with the ebony handle retaining the enamel SS runes emblem and eagle insignias to the grip. Some small nicks to the grip and a very small section missing from the lower corner of the reverse. The double edged blade with the motto, “Meine Ehre heist Treue”, with much of the black finish still remaining within the motto. Cross graining to the blade remains with just some light surface spotting. Housed in its anodised scabbard with the original hanging chains having SS runes and skulls on the chain links. SS rune acceptance stamp to the reverse of the chains. Overall a good untouched example of an early type original officers chained dress dagger. Appears to have been made up using a mixture of original and reproduction parts.

Luftwaffe School Marked 1st Pattern Dress Dagger by Carl Eickhorn Solingen, good untouched as found example of an early 1st pattern Luftwaffe officers dress dagger with original wire binding to the blue leather covered grip. Nickel silver pommel with gilt mobile swastika to the centre of both sides. Feathered cross guard with mobile swastikas to the centre. Underside of the cross guard stamped with school marking “Schl. 79”. Blue leather covered scabbard with nickel silver fittings. The reverse of the scabbard fittings have the covered staples which is often found on the early DLV daggers. The top scabbard mount is unusually also stamped with the same school marking that is under the cross guard. Attached to the scabbard is the original hanging chains with clip fitting. Some replaced links towards the lower section. Plain double edged blade with Carl Eickhorn, Solingen makers mark to the base. The blade measures 31 ½ cms, overall 49 ½ cms. Dagger has never been cleaned or touched and is covered in a dark patina to all the exterior fittings. Some slight movement in the handle section but generally a good untouched example.

WW2 German Kriegsmarine Officers Dress Dagger by E&F Horster Solingen, untouched example with gilt brass eagle pommel top, white celluloid grip without wire binding, brass cross guard with fouled anchor to the cartouche and press button to the reverse. Housed in the original scabbard with two fixed hanging rings. Blade etched with anchor and foliage to both sides. E & F Horster Solingen makers trade mark to the base. The blade measures 25cms, overall 42cms. Dagger is accompanied by a War Service Cross 2nd class complete with its ribbon. Both items were brought home as souvenirs by the vendors uncle from WW2.

Standard cross guard with button release to the reverse. Housed in its original scabbard with two hanging rings. Double edged blade with foliage, anchor and sailing ship etching. F W Holler Solingen makers trade mark to the base of the blade. Some surface staining to the blade. The blade measures 25cms, overall 41 ½ cms.

WW2 German Kriegsmarine Officers Dress Dagger of Kapitan zur See Hugo Freiherr von Lamezan, Final Commander of the German Naval Base in Sandnessjöen, Norway, fine untouched example of a standard 2nd model Kriegsmarine officers dress dagger with gilt metal eagle pommel top, white celluloid grip with wire binding and standard pattern cross guard with press button release. Housed in its original hammered pattern scabbard with two hanging rings. The blade has had the makers trade mark removed and has been replaced by a stamped presentation inscription “Die Offiziere der 1.MLA ihrem Kommandeur” and reverse side “Kpt.z.See Frhr. v. Lamezan 29.3.41-12.4.43”. Fine quality blade with standard foliage and fouled anchor etch. Blade measures 25cms. Attached to the scabbard is an original matched set of Kriegsmarine hanging straps (large and small) with gilt wash aluminium fittings. Overall remains in good untouched condition. Kapitan zur See Hugo Freiherr von Lamezan, was born in St Petersburg, Russia on 3rd April 1891. His records show that he served with various shore based establishments before becoming commander of 1.Marinelehrabteilung (Marine Training Department) in March 1941 until April 1943. He then moved onto rolls in other shore establishments, with his final position being the Sea Commander of the German Navy stationed at Sandnessjöen, Norway. He died in 1947 and is buried near Hamburg, Germany. Worthy of further research.

Pair of embroidered 43rd Wessex division formation signs and a finely embroidered pair of 46th Infantry division formation signs. Accompanied by a large and comprehensive assortment of paperwork relating to the service of Corporal Richardson R.A.O.C including his permit to attend the War Crimes Court at Luneburg on 14th November 1945 which was the trial for Bergen Belsen concentration camp.

Montgomeryshire Yeomanry 1871 Pattern Other Ranks Dress Helmet, untouched example of a white metal shell 1871 pattern other ranks helmet with central starburst helmet plate of the Montgomeryshire Yeomanry with Welsh dragon to the centre, laurel spray, rosette side bosses with linked leather backed chinstrap. Cruciform spike base with fluted socket spike holding the white horsehair other ranks plume. Interior of the helmet retains the original black leather liner. Black leather covering to the underside of the front peak. Shell has some dents but is generally a good untouched example.
