A fine Hancocks 14 brilliant cut Diamond dress ring ,with outer rows of 33 baguette cut diamonds on each side . Assessed as total combined diamond weight for 80 diamonds of 1.2cts with assessed colour G/H and VS/SI clarity . All white mount with platinum Hallmark having sponsors mark B & N, London and additional stamps Hancocks 1.25th and HET 770, and the ring is sized L/M with a total weight approximately 10grams. Bought from Hancocks and owned from new by the vendor., with a Hancocks original detail card. Available for personal in house inspection at the preview.
A 1950s mink stole and a 1950s Jean Allen evening gown in a pink rayon silk with jacquard pattern and white stitch stripes. The dress has a fitted bodice with the skirt falling from the hips in gentle pleats and there is a starched muslin, hooped petticoat built in, (2) Dress aprox size uk 10, hoop needs reshaping, general wear as would be expected from use stole has some loose stitching in the lining, the lining has some marks, fur itself is good and clean
Two 1940s dresses to include a rayon crepe dress with novelty print featuring matadors and chitarra Italianas and another in rayon jersey and velvet the rayon being printed with poppies, cornflowers and daisies (2) novelty print is generally strong, clean and bright, underarm weakness has been patched on the inside and would benefit from these being made a little larger to reinforce. There are a couple of pin pricks on the neckline. wearable as is. rayon jersey dress has had gussets put in at the underarms (same fabric and very well done) and there are some little specks on the front.
An Emma Somerset gown in beaded apricot lace complete with fine gauze stole sz 14, and a cream silk gown with sequinned embellishments and net overlay by Anoushka, complete with matching stole plus a heavily beaded cocktail dress in white georgette with thick shoulder pads by Mark Cheung, Sz M (3) white dress has some staining to lining around the chest and underarms and a couple of spots on the outside. Emma Somerset dress has some pulls and loose beads, only notable upon close inspection plus faint staining to lining along top edge, not seen when worn.
