(1878-1971) Framed, signed with initials and signed in pencil to margin, 'The London Pilot', etching on paper, and FREDERICK ARTHUR FARRELL (1882 - 1935) Unframed, mounted, signed in pencil, blindstamped, etching on paper, showing the houses of parliament, additionally signed by F. G. HARDCASTLE, 21cm x 25cm, 16.5cm x 23.5cm and 16.5cm x 26.5cm, (3).
Attributed to Paul Heermann (1673-1732) - Cupid pissing, ivory relief carving, signed with monogram lower centre, 12.5 x 9.1cm, in later ebonised mount and silk and velvet lined leather case, the carving is based on a 1640 etching by Joachim von Sandrart the elder (1606-1688) Condition Report / Extra Information Three vertical hairlines from top. Spectacles rim missing to right eye. Otherwise ivory appears good and complete. Later case with age wear.
A Victorian 1845 pattern Infantry Officer's sword, the 82cm spear point blade etched with a crowned VR cypher by Ranken & Co. Calcutta, having a pierced brass hilt, wire bound fishskin grip and stepped pommel, in a brass scabbard, 99cm. Condition Report / Extra Information Blade in generally good condition. Etching can be clearly seen. Wire to the handle slightly frayed. Some light pin dents to the scabbard. No unit or regiment mark.
A Geo. V. 1827 pattern Rifle Officer's sword, the 82.5cm single edged steel blade etched with a crowned GRV cypher and numbered 10927 to the back edge, having a pierced steel hilt with crowned bugle and wire bound fishskin grip, in a leather covered steel scabbard, 98cm. Condition Report / Extra Information Large pieces of grip missing and no wire as described. Losses to hilt above crowned bugle. Blade in good order. Slight loss to etching at tip and worn to the proof mark, otherwise etching good. Some wear to leather scabbard but stitching good.
A Geo. V. 1827 pattern Rifle Officer's sword, the 83.5cm single edged steel blade etched with a crowned GRV cypher by R.J. Inglis Ltd, Montreal & Winnipeg and numbered 16394 to the back edge, having a pierced steel hilt with crowned bugle and wirebound fishskin grip, in a leather covered wooden scabbard, (scabbard A/F) 103cm overall. Condition Report / Extra Information Blade is good. Etching clear. Hilt tarnished and needs cleaning. Wire bound grip is intact. Scabbard in very poor condition with large areas of leather missing, split to both sides. Frog held together with tape.
A Victorian 1821 pattern General Officer's sword, the 81cm curved blade having crowned VR cypher with crossed sword and baton by H. Poole & Co. Saville Row, London, the mameluke hilt with further crossed sword and baton within a wreath, having a two piece grip (A/F) and bullion knot, in a brass scabbard, 97cm overall. Provenance, Ex Rushbrook Hall, Bury St Edmunds. Condition Report / Extra Information Loss to handle with areas of staining and remaining piece loose. Small crack to the opposing side. Bullion knot slightly frayed. Small areas of light rust to the blade at the forte, otherwise blade good. Etching clear. Scabbard has some small dents, otherwise good.

Bombay, having regulation brass hilt with wirebound fishskin grip, ornamental backstrap, stepped pommel and bullion knot, in a steel scabbard, 100cm overall. Condition Report / Extra Information Etching can be seen. Named to the scabbard Lieut. W. HOLT, Hampshire Regiment, Burmese Campaign 1888-91
