All sides have MIKE'S-THE EXCHANGE etching. Labels are bright and clean. This version has the two printed card inner sleves, both in Ex+ condition, no splits of tears. Früher Druck mit schmalem umlaufenden Rändchen. Rembrandt zeigt in seiner Radierung den Moment, wo der Vater seinen verlorenen Sohn wieder in die Arme schließt. Der Sohn trägt ein einfaches weißes Tuch um seine Hüften, ansonsten sind ihm nur ein Messer und sein Stock geblieben. Der nahezu blinde Vater legt dem Sohn eine beruhigende Hand auf den Rücken und sein Kinn an dessen Hinterkopf, während seine linke Hand den rechten Unterarm des Sohnes umfaßt. So entsteht bei den beiden eine enge Umschlossen- und Verbundenheit. Der Sohn wird vom Vater vergebend wieder in die Familie aufgenommen, während drei weitere Figuren dies Geschehen aus dem Haus heraus neugierig beobachten.
