Charles William Cain, British, 1893-1962- "An Indian Silversmith"; etching, signed with monogram within the plate, signed and inscribed '31. 75.' in pen, 22.5x27.5cm, (may be subject to Droit de Suite) Note: Cain was a student of Camberwell School of Art and then an illustrator cartoonist for the Johannesburg Star until WWI when he joined the Border Regiment in India and Mesopotamia until Armistice, and entered the Royal College of Art under Frank Short 1920-1.
