(6), Some as found with minor tears and abrasions to the margins, particularly the 'Fisher Lassie'.Provenance: from a relative of the artist. Mary Louise Coulouris worked in a range of media during her prolific career, with studios in London (1962-1976), Scotland (1976-1999) and Hydra, Greece (2000-2011). Of partly Greek heritage, born in New York and growing up in Hampstead, she trained at Chelsea College of Art in the late 1950s and then Slade to 1960, specialising in printmaking under the tutorship of Anthony Gross and William Coldstream. Alongside her work in printmaking sit watercolour still lives and oil and acrylic works on canvas and board showing Scottish landscapes and cityscapes. Coulouris exhibited widely in her lifetime and examples of her work can be found in major public and private collections.

Evidence of the staining also visible to the reverse of the sheet. There is one small mark of staining to the centre of the sheet (to the left side of the right hand window).
