Sword: A Naval Officers Spadroon type sword of the Napoleonic Wars? Curved blade 33" with simple etching to blade including a cannon & powder Keg (?) & sword device. Plain brass knucklebow with diamond shaped langets & drooping quillon. Chequered Ebony grip (age cracks). Broad fullered blade culminating in a double edged spear point. A few minor nicks to blade. No scabbard. Light rusting. A very attractive and decorative sword from Nelson's Navy. Viewing recommended.
