Antique original sanguine etching on paper entitled Reclining Nude Turned to The Right (Femme Nue Couchee Tournee a Droite) by French Impressionist Pierre-Auguste Renoir. This second state impression was published during Renoir's lifetime exclusively in two distinct color plates in Theodore Duret's fist edition: Histoire des Peintres Impressionnistes, Paris, Floury, 1906. On verso: includes a COA from Merill Chase, Chicago, a descriptive tag, and a copy of Dr. Joseph G. Stella's Catalogue Raisonne: The Graphic Works of Renoir, with literature on this specific etching.
