Art collector & artist.- Willis (Thomas, tea dealer and art collector, of 13 Leinster Terrace, Hyde Park, 1836-1916) & Ethel Mary Willis, artist and miniaturist, daughter of Thomas Willis, of "Penshurst", 41 Park Road, Chiswick, 1874-1945. Archive of manuscript and printed poetry by Thomas Willis, and 2 pen and ink and pencil designs, a proof etching, and documents all by or relating to Ethel Willis, and a quantity of correspondence to both father and daughter, folds, browned, loose in a contemporary morocco portfolio, rubbed, v.s., v.d., 1849 - 1921 (c. 120 pieces).
Edward IV.- Tyson (Rev. Michael, 1740-1780) Jane Shore from an Original Picture in the Provost's Lodge at King's College Cambridge, etching, a delicate impression on laid paper without watermark, sheet 206 x 160 mm. (8 1/8 x 6 1/4 in), inset into paper mount at edges, with verso exposed, light surface dirt and browning, unframed, [circa 1760-1780]. Provenance:Denstone College Library (stamp verso)⁂ Rev. Michael Tyson was an English clergyman, academic, antiquary, and an amateur etcher of Trinity College, Cambridge, with many of his prints only being produced for private circulation.
James McBey (1883-1959), "Cavalry moving on Damascus", signed and inscribed 'Final Proof III' in ink in the margin, etching, plate size 22 x 38cm, 8.75 x 15in. Artists' Resale Right ("droit de suite") may apply to this lot. Condition Report: The etching is in good, original condition. There is foxing across the etching. The etching is framed and glazed.
Henry Wilkinson R.E., A.R.C.A. (1921-2011), "On The Scent" and "Shooting Scene with Golden Labrador", both signed and numbered 80/100 and 75/100 in pencil in the margins, coloured etchings, plate sizes 28 x 40cm, 11 x 15.75in and 25 x 36.5cm, 9.75 x 14.25in (2). Condition Report: The prints are both in good, original condition with strong colours. There is a faint stain to the paper in the left hand margin of the hunting etching, as well as one or two minor spots of foxing and a few creases in the margins of the labrador etching. The prints are both mounted but unframed.

(1921-2011), "Golden Labrador and Ring-Necked Pheasant" and "Liver and White Spaniels", both signed and numbered 123/200 and 28/150 in pencil in the margins, coloured etchings, plate sizes 24.5 x 33.5cm, 9.75 x 13.25in and 25 x 34.5cm, 9.75 x 13.5in (2). Condition Report: The prints are both in good, original condition with strong colours. There are just a few minor spots of foxing in the margin of the spaniels etching. The prints are both framed and glazed.
Edmund Blampied R.B.A., R.E. (British, 1886-1966), "Homewards, Evening", signed in pencil in the margin, etching, plate size 11.5 x 16.5cm, 4.5 x 6.5in. Artists' Resale Right ("droit de suite") may apply to this lot. Condition Report: The etching is in good, original condition. The paper has browned slightly around the edges of the sheet along the mount board. The etching is framed and glazed.
C. MAGUIREMr Talbot as Monsieur Marbleau Hand coloured etching, 340 x 235Published by Del VecchioThis shows the ecclesiastical actor Montague Talbot [1774 - 1831] dancing in a farce. His popularity led to this plate being pirated by McCleary. Charles Maguire was a son of the engraver Patrick Maguire and assisted him in various portraits of , especially for the Hibernian Magazine.
