David Tindle Afternoon Light artists proof etching David Tindle F.R.C.A. R.A. (1932 - ) Afternoon Light signed inscribed and dated '84 in pencil in the margin artists proof etching image size 26.5 x 25cm.; 10.5 x 10in. * Studied at Coventry School of Art (1945 -6). From early 1950's he was feature in Royal Academy Summer Exhibition shows and had regular solo shows at Piccadilly Gallery. By 1957 he had a retrospective at Coventry's Herbert Art Gallery. Exhibited extensively. Was for a time Ruskin Master of Drawing at Oxford University. Tate Gallery Manchester City Art Gallery National Portrait Gallery and many other public collections hold his work.
