William Monk (1863-1937) Westminster Abbey, signed and inscribed with title, etching, 18 x 25cm (PL)together with a signed etching by Peter Grahame, titled a 'Cotswold Home, Broadway' and two engravings titled 'A House in Watergate Street' and 'Saxon Arch' after George Cuitt (1779-1854) (4)Notes: William Monk was a prolific architectural etcher with a focus on London, New York, Winchester and Durham. He was made a full member of the Royal Society of Painter-Printmakers in 1899 and today his work is in many public collections such as the British Museum and the Victorian and Albert Museum.
