He also worked as a designer, in which he has collaborated on many projects around the world, including the rebuilding of the ice skating rink in New York's Central Park, and in the 1990's worked as a design director of the innovative designer radiator company Bisque. He has lived and worked in Covent Garden, London since 1970 and constructed an etching workshop in his studio in Camberwell Green.
