The book is in good condtion. As the book has unfinished edges, some have become slightly torn. Some of the page edges have become slightly yellowed, but otherwise are in good condition. The front and rear boards have some areas of wear.

Bookseller's trade card.- Bickham the Elder (George, 1683-1758) Trompe-l'œil medley print with portraits, letters, and playing cards, large format trade card, etching and engraving on laid paper with indistinct watermark, sheet 330 x 250 mm (13 x 9 3/4 in), trimmed within the platemark, minor browning and surface dirt, framed, published by Cluer Dicey (active c. 1713-1775), [circa 1705 but slightly later]*** Scarce. The British Museum hold another impression from this plate, and another example was sold in these rooms, albeit with Henry Overton's publication details.

Olivia Lomenech Gill(b.1974)"Exile Notes I (Procession with Tractor etc)",signed, titled verso,hand-tinted etching with collage,29 x 83cms, in frame.Notes: Gill is the illustrator of "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" by J. K. Rowling, and "Where My Wellies Take Me", written by Michael and Clare Morpurgo. She was shortlisted for the Kate Greenaway Medal and won the English Association Picture Book Award.
